Hey guys, like Jono said, my beloved V got sold yesterday. We can still have catch up on 18th or 19th March for my birthday. If there's enough interest, me or someone else can organize cruise/meet too, & that can also be for saying farewell to Sheldon's V. Let me know & we will see how it goes. By the way, I will be back one day. Either with Nissan or not, I don't know.

I don't think It's Weber Sports as it doesn't have vents on sides of that rear bar. I know a body kit that's super rare and looks like that rear. I forgot the name again. Andrew (Nightcrawler) has that body kit. Maybe he can confirm it?

Well, to be honest, I am not making much effort in selling the car. I don't even have my carsales sticker on. I am not selling the car to make money, got sick of it or something wrong with it. I just thought of selling to see if I can plan on doing something else, like buying a house in Brisbane or going oversea every year. With the car, it's taking longer to do those. Oh well, will just have to see how this goes. By the way, this guy that contacted me on carsales can't buy the car now because of finance difficulty.

Yeah, that's common scam nowadays. I am never touching Paypal. I looked there but couldn't find it. I could only find Vin/Chassis number at back of engine block on firewall. Maybe I am looking at wrong place. Anyway, I did REVS check with Vin/Chassis and engine number I got on my rego renewal receipt and it was fine. So that wasn't wrong but I can't find it in engine bay.

Hey guys, Update on this matter. The bank asked for Vin and engine numbers. So I gave them from my rego renewal paper and they said they couldn't match engine number. I don't think it's wrong on my rego paper. And also, where can I find this engine number in car engine bay?

That's just by itself, not a trade-in. You can get more with private sale. I think it's just all about being patient and waiting for a right person. When that right person comes along who knows the real value of your car that's not cheap compare to others because it's been taken of, you won't be disappointed.

Hey Shiva, the potential buyer is waiting to get this loan approved. I should know something next week. As far as I am concerned, it's not a scam as I've done research on his local bank and have talked to few people. Hey mate, trade-in price will most likely be very low. I showed my V35 to a Nissan dearler where I bought my other Nissan just to know what they think in August. They only offered me $15k!

Mine is on carsales for nearly 6 months now and got 3 phone calls, 5 SMS's and about 4 scams. My advice is just be patience. My car price will stay at $23k as it is until I really need to sell it. Good luck.

Yeah, it's expensive so it's more worth it for more exclusive rims.

You mean re-condition the rims? I did one of mine back in Perth and I think it costed around $200 per rim. It took about 3-4 days and was like new afterwards.

Thanks, Paul. Yeah, I called WA and QLD licensing centres. All I've got to do is go to QLD licensing centre to give up my WA plates and mail the receipt back to WA licensing centre. Buyer will have to sort out for transporting back to NSW.
