Ok. Sorry guys. I am abit confused now, with some saying crap sound and some no difference. I probably call Kermit on this before deciding on it. Yes, I just want to extend an inch and maybe, change the tips to abit bigger stainless steel type. I can asure if Kermit also agree that it will sound crap, I won't do it. I rather save up and get a full system. I am not after any sound or power improvement as I only drive it on weekends for relaxing cruise. Plus, if I get asked by an offier what exhaust system I have, I don't want to say it's aftermarket at this stage. Thanks, guys for all the replies. I learn new things everytime on SAU.

Just changing the tips would change the sound that much? I didn't know about that before. I am not after any power gain at this stage. Just want bigger shiny exhaust tips that will look nice with the rear bar and sound stock. If that's not possible, I will just have to get an aftermarket one.

Cost effective? I just don't want to spend the same as buying the whole new system. Plus it's stock, so not much hassle. I am still weighing up my options.

Hi everyone, Sorry if this is already posted or discussed before. I can't find any information related in search engine. Anyway, I am looking at modifying my stock exhaust. Not fancy job, I just want to change my stock exhaust tips to stainless steel or chrome and make them extend past my Veilside rear bar. For now, stock ones are sitting way too much inside. Can anyone with past experiences in this process please let me know the pros and cons? Also, I've looked up in Workshop thread and might be contacting Kermit Engineering for this job. But if anyone know any reputable shops in SOR, please let me know. Thank you.

Nice. They do look blue but can't really tell how the view changes from standard from the photos. First, I thought you were replacing the whole mirror cover thing.

How about making the alarm custom? Instead of "BEEP,BEEP" sound when activated, "KARR,KARR" sound of a monkey comes out.
