  1. Thanks, Olly. I shall see you and the others on 17th at 3:00pm.
  2. Hi everyone. First of all, I would like to introduce myself (For those who don't know me yet ). My name is Victor and I own an 2004 Nissan Skyline V35 350GT coupe. I came to Perth in 2006 from Myanmar (Also known as Burma) to study and I am now working full time and will be getting my citizenship soon. I've been a regular SAU forum user since September 2009 and have made alot of friends with fellow car enthusiasts from all over Australia, regardless of race, religion, and background. A couple of days ago, me and a few friends from Myanmar living in Perth have decided to form a society of car enthusiasts from Myanmar living in Perth. For now, there's about 5-10 people that we came into contact and would love to know if there's more owners out there. If you are a part of, in some way, a Myanmar heritage and a car enthusiast who likes to be a part of like-minded car owners society, please let me know as we are looking at making this society grow. I would like to apologize if this breached any forum rules. I just want to know if there's any SAU forum users from Myanmar. Please contact me for further information. Thank you for your time.
  3. Welcome to SAU. When you say "My New V", I thought of V35. I think you meant V-spec.
  4. Welcome to SAU, Stephen. With importing your Skyline, I wouldn't have a clue. Hope someone can help you out with that. Good luck.
  5. Welcome to SAU, Kyle.
  6. That is correct. For me, I use power setting when I am on a cruise, normal setting for daily driving, snow setting if it's raining heavily (My rear wheels spin like crazy on wet roads ).
  7. Hi Olly, thanks for the invite. We shall see you guys again. I will tell the other owners. We like the last cruise. Would you know the route, like where it ends? Hi Mikhail, Olly is a good friend of us. We cruised together before and always have fun. Come along if you can. It will be fun. I shall see you coming Friday night anyway.
  8. Cool. No worries. Looks nice. Fuad (Grrrr) is the owner of blue V35 coupe with Chargespeed front bumper. You can see his car on WA cruises/meet sections.

    Hello All!

    No worries, Melvin.
  10. So I can come. Just joking. Well, thanks for organizing, Rowan. I will definitely come if nothing urgent comes up on that day.
  11. Nice, mate. By any chance, they look alot like Fuad's (Grrrr) wheels.
  12. Sorry to hear about that, Alvin. That's why I resist taking mine to any shopping centres. Strange thing is, one of my friend's 350Z got a dent just like yours last week. He also reckon it could have come from opening an SUV door because his work got a lot of SUVs. Good luck with fixing it up. I reckon it would cost around $250-$350.
  13. Like Mark said, if you have aftermarket coilovers (or wheels) already, the ride will feel harder. If not, that's how stock suspension goes, I believe.
  14. Easy choice. Evo 9 - Powerful - Turbo power (Although it's still a Lancer, it's a totally different car) - Practical (4 Doors) - Ready-made track road legal weapon V35 coupe - Powerful - 3.5ltr V6 power - Luxurious and stylish They are two totally different cars for different purposes. My suggestion is go with your heart and lifestyle. For me, Evo anyday, for fun, can park anywhere and don't care about any road conditions and track works. V35 anyday, for comfort and cruise in style.
  15. Ok. I measured it last night again. It's actually between 90mm-95mm. I will put thicker profile tires when I change them next time and all should be good. Thanks for clearing that up, Stephen.
  16. Which part of the car is exactly the lowest part of the car? Is that the exhaust part? I asked because my front lip is sitting at approximately 80mm off the flat ground level.
  17. Looks the good there, Phil. We have similar colour theme. Not at all. I have 2nd set of these now (Threaded three of the last set because of my DIY at night with lack of light ).
  18. Right. Sorry...I should have mentioned it before.
  19. "... But any well-heeled tradesman looking to replace their Toyota Hilux with an M3 pick-up should look at today's date." You mean Toyota Hilux? I meant European market, like Merc, Audi, etc. I can only thing of Volkswagen Transporter range for tradesman.
  20. Price is now set at $69,990. Spotted a white V35 sedan turning from Bannister Rd onto Nicholson Rd in Canning Vale area (WA) at 7:50am on Friday (01-04-11).
  21. I don't know about the legal fact with the R34 GTT. The wheels were off from a V35 coupe.
  22. Looks ok. I wonder how the sale is going to be if production goes ahead, because none of its rivals have released utes before, I think. Even BMW wagons are hard to find on the roads.
  23. With 19 inch wheels, you will definitely need to lower it abit. 19x8 should be fine. One of my friend with a R34 GTT coupe tried on to buy these wheels (19x8.5 +35 (Front) on 245/35/19, 19x9.5+35 (Rear) on 275/35/19). Rear wheels were sticking out alot and needs guard rolling. I am not sure about handling and rubbing issue. The wheels look good. Good luck.
  24. Mine is abit below 1/2, at approximately 1/3.
