  1. Looks ok. I would still prefer the BMW 3-series coupe though.
  2. Very nice, mate. By the way, did you spray your front grille? What kind of black colour is it?
  3. Nice work, Aaron. Is that process reversible?
  4. Thanks Mark. I will be trying that soon.
  5. Looks like it's good stuff, Mark. Can we buy that at pretty much any car places in WA?
  6. Cool Steve. I don't think 10mm-12mm is not yet enough though (At least for a fat finger. ). 16mm-18mm should be good and safest. Let me know how it goes. Kinh got his car all sorted out, so we can catch up this weekends.
  7. Steve, that was the closest you can get into trouble (Except they bring out a tape measure and you are screwed, together with your low hanging exhaust). The way you conducted with the officers was the best way too, and I think that helped you. Anyhow, you should raise it up abit, now that you got checked once. Lucky you.
  8. Yeah, it is a risk. But they look nice.
  9. Of course, man. As long as your love for your V is there, you are always welcome. We had done almost everything with our V's together. Any kind of help is very well appreciated too. Thanks heaps.
  10. Cool Mikhail. You are on the list! We are just waiting on confirmation from other owners as most of them are away on holidays at the moment. It should be a good cruise.
  11. If you like sport, definitely FIFA 11. Or Call of Duty: Black Ops.
  12. Haha, same here. Mrs's bag got a half-leather string that is used to close the bag, and it's so long I had to remind her about touching the door everytime she gets in and out of the car.
  13. Spotted a black V35 coupe with Kenstyle rear and sides on Wanneroo Road (WA) at 4:50pm on Monday (3-01-11).
  14. $5.5k ono is a total bargain. I got mine (19 inch) at $4.9k with tires more than a year ago from a fellow SAUWA member, so at this price it's going to be a great buy. Hope it goes to a good home.
  15. One of V35 coupe owner here in WA got a black one. I think he said he adjusted the RH side to shine the light at lower level, same as the LH side one. I am going to check on this once he get back from holiday, and I might be getting one. Typically, it's not totally legal in Australia.
  16. Yes, Mikhail. In WA, we don't get rego stickers anymore to stick. I also heard we can even get fined for leaving the expired rego sticker still on the front wind screen.
  17. Sorry to hear about your incident, mate. I am sure you parked your car at the safest place you can find, but this could happen to anyone else.
  18. Confirmed: (V35) 1. Victor.T 2. CRISP 35 - TBC 3. Grrrr - TBC 4. Cliff (Not on SAU) - TBC 5. Chris (Not on SAU) - TBC
  19. Hi everyone, WA VQ-series cruise no.6, that was postponed back in December 2010, will be organised in March 2011. Just for the record of VQ-series cruises, there have been 5 cruises so far and their information can be found on relevent threads. Official WA VQ-Series Cruise No.6 This event will go ahead ONLY if: 1. There's 5 or more V-series Nissan Skyline able to participate. 2. There's a safe and secure car park, whenever possible. 3. As to make this cruise as much safe and enjoyable as we can, we will try to organise it on a sunny and beautiful day. We are looking at doing this regularly, or whenever possible. Cruise Information Date: 6-03-11 (Sunday) Time: 1:00pm Meet, 1:30pm Depart - 4:30pm Place: Powis Street car park (5-10 minutes drive from Citywest car park, Drive onto Mitchell FWY and off at Powis Street exist on the left, Turn left onto Powis street and first left entry into Powis street car park) Please post if interested and check this tread for updates. As the last WA VQ-Series cruise was back in October 2010, it's time we have one big cruise before the spring comes. So we would like to encourage more V-series owners to come along, welcome the new year with fellow owners and enjoy the sunny cruise. Thank you for your time.
  20. Spotted a silver V35 coupe drove past Makan Makan cafe (WA) at 7:45pm on Sunday (2-01-11).
  21. I reckon, when cops (some, not all) see the badge "SKYLINE", they will likely pay more attention to it. Once, in WA, I was driving behind a quite "done-up" BMW 3-series coupe. A police car drove past slowly (at traffic lights) in opposite way, and the passenger cop looked and pointed at mine while talking to his driver cop. What about that BMW with big wheels and lowered?
  22. "Have I been in trouble with the authorities?...". . If you had been, that might probably have effect on his decision making. Well, lucky you wasn't speeding.
  23. I just had a look last Wednesday, and there's no button (Just a plastic screw cover).
  24. Cool. For a second, I also thought you were trying to put a baby seat in there. Well, good luck with it. Please post up photos after you had done it.
  25. Cool. I wonder if they going to make a couple of them and start a race series.
