  1. Who's in the jumpseat?? Anyhow, the point is, if GTR driver crashed it like the news said (Over speed, etc.), he deserved it. But if it was the bus driver's fault (Or just an accident, like insufficient road lighting, etc.) and the other car involved was a high-performance car (People started jumping into this band wagon of Fast car = Hoon), then the news is S**t. Either way, 1 good car off the face of the earth.
  2. LOL, True. Bad luck can struck anytime.
  3. Now you've mentioned it, Terry. I've got friends (married couple) I go to Church with. They have two cars (2004 Honda CRV and another daily) and were going out somewhere. The wife drove the CRV at the front and the husband drove another daily at the back. At one traffic light, she stopped quickly at red and the husband drove into the rear. Bad luck.
  4. I got similar rain marks on my Mitsubishi Mirage, but I think that happens because I just park it in the rain and only wash the car once every 2 months (The longer you leave those rain marks on, the harder to get them off).
  5. I don't think the bus driver is at fault. If the bus driver is at fault, there will be lots of witnesses on the bus that will say how the bus was driven. Maybe the GTR driver fell asleep, or drunk behind the wheels?
  6. Looks good, mate.
  7. I am not sure if anyone has done that before. May I ask what is your purpose of removing it? Just hate how it looks?
  8. Waste of life, and a total waste of a great car. He probably deserved it, drove like that on public road.
  9. Spotted silver V35 coupe on Leach Hwy and Manning Rd intersection traffic lights (WA) at 8:05am on Wednesday (22-12-10). I was in a Mitsubishi Mirage stopped on Manning Rd.
  10. Looks ok, but will cop alot of abuse from haters. I think the R34 converted in the photo is a GT-T, not a GTR right?
  11. Probably got disconnected in importing and registration procedure by the importer.
  12. When you turn on "Snow" mode, it "locks" the differential so that 50% of the power goes to the front wheels and 50% to the rear. It also limits the throttle, that's why you don't spin the wheels. It's a great feature. If it's raining heavily, I would drive with "Normal" or even "Snow" mode to avoid the wheel spins and skits. "Power" mode is good for spirited driving, and it consumes alot on fuel.
  13. Hi everyone, I would like to wish everyone a "Merry Christmas & Happy New Year". Drive safe, stay awake and have fun! See you all in 2011.
  14. Agreed. Mine are 19 inch. Stock are 17 inch, but speedo went out 5-6kms because of low profile tires.
  15. Not really. There's a lot of people with Nwe in the name though. My aunty is a lecturer at Curtin University and she would know more Burmese people than me. If u want, pm me when you go to one of the Burmese concert or community thing in the future and maybe we can catch up one day.
  16. Wow, I never really paid much attention to this button.
  17. Hi Stephen, Your wife's Burmese? Cool. Do you go to any Burmese community things? Anyhow, I would give a V35 a thought too, if she likes the look plus they are very affordable now. It also has the decent back seats and a boot (That was the reason I chose V35 over 350Z and Silvia).
  18. Right. Fair enough. Looks good.
  19. Very very aggressive stance, mate. Nice. May I ask why blue?
  20. Haha, yeah Rhys. Fair enough.
  21. Oh, so is just the bonnet that damaged then? The last time we had hail storm in Perth (In March 2010), I took my V35 to work with no under cover parking. It started raining heavily around 4:30pm and the power got cut off. So we started going home (Work actually finish at 5:30pm) and I got home 5 minutes later. Then, I went back out with my Mirage to pick up my brother from University which is 30 minutes away, but took me 1 and a half hour to get there. There, I saw how bad the storm was (Traffic jams, flooded areas, etc.). So lucky I got to put my V35 into the garage earlier. Again, sorry to hear about your Forester, Terry. Hope it all goes well for you.
  22. Ok. Thanks, Terence.
  23. Ok. So you were happy with it afterwards? Cool. If I end up rolling my fenders and (God forbid) the paint crack, can I pm you to ask for the place information? Thanks, Terence.
  24. Hi Terence, I just want to know how did fixing your guards go afterwards. Were the guards and paint look ok after fixing?
  25. Fark me, Rowan! You made me jump out of my seat with this photo!
