  1. Ok, thanks Stephen. I might not even keep the roof overlay for more than 2 years, or put on a new one. I bought it off my friend yesterday (There's a Fs thread on here). He ordered it from bluebatmobile in the USA. To tell the truth, I can't tell the quality now. But I think bluebatmobile is very popular in USA and alot of people use it, so I do trust the quality should be good. I will post up the result after I put it on.
  2. Jeez, I never thought they are THAT rich!
  3. Hi Stephen, Thank you for your information. My V35 is going to be kept indoor for most of the time, plus I don't drive in the rain too. With the difficulties of taking it off after 2 years, it should be ok as I am mainly worried about damaging the paint. How long would you reckon I should take it off without damaging the paint? Thanks again, Stephen.
  4. Again, it looks really good, Stephen. Great work.
  5. Hi everyone, I have a window tint for sale. I ordered it through a friend (Not on SAU with V35 sedan) in January 2009 from USA (Still in original roll box) for USD$100 plus postage to Perth, WA. A few things to note: (1). I called one of mobile tint service to put it on my V35 coupe sometimes last year, but got told that it's under darkest legal tint limit of Australia (Under 35%). My wife got scared by it (Being un-roadworthly, etc.) so we didn't end up using it. I wasn't at home at that time so didn't get to ask what percentage it is. From the look of it, it's not that dark, but I reckon it will be about 15%-30%. I will check on it and update before coming weekends. (2). I believe it's only for the front 2 windows as it's meant for a coupe. I will check on it and update before coming weekends. Selling it for AUD$90. I am not in a hurry to sell it (As you can see it has been with me for over a year now and only been taken out of a box once). Please pm if interested. Photos will be uploaded before coming weekends. PLEASE NOTE: Again, it's under darkest legal tint limit of Australia (Under 35%) as I will not be held reliable if your car deems un-roadworthly in the future. It does look really nice for VIP look and matches near-perfect with the rear privacy glass of V35 coupe. Thank you for your time.
  6. Hi everyone, I came across 1 mildly modded G35/V35 sedan for sale from USA on the internet. The main thing I like about it is a coupe front-end conversion. EXTERIOR: Coupe front-end conversion (custom fenders) with Nismo polyurethane coupe bumper, Top Secret carbon fiber coupe hood, Wald side skirts, Wald rear bumper lip, Custom rear fender flares, Grubbs lip spoiler, 2006 projector headlights (Custom painted and LED), Coupe grille (Custom painted black, blue emblem), Window trim (Custom painted black), Gloss black painted roof, Custom tail lights (Painted black inside). Personally, I like it. It looks different and unique.
  7. Hi everyone, I just bought myself a gloss black roof vinyl overlay from a friend of mine (R3N) in WA. He ordered it from bluebatmobile from USA a few months back, and I bought it off him yesterday for AUD$70. He is a great guy to deal with too (Thanks again mate ). Now, I have to find a person or place to do it for me. If anyone know a person or a place I can go to in WA, please let me know.
  8. Thanks mate. Can't wait to put it on. I also got your pm of the link on how to put roof vinyl overlay. If I am still not confident enough after reading it, I would just probably find a person or place to do it for me.
  9. No. They might still be able to book you because it's on the the restricted vehicle list for P1/P2 drivers, so there's still a big risk.
  10. Yes, cops can book you anytime at any place they want (Just like making your vehicle un-roadworthly if they believe so).
  11. Spotted lakeshore blue V35 coupe near Curtin University (WA) at 8:00pm on Tuesday (7-12-10).
  12. You are welcome. You can share your Legacy/Liberty ideas in "General Automotive Discussion" thread. With most car parts, Chris Rogers is the person to contact. Other than that, you probably best to post up what you are after and there should be someone who can help you out. Good luck.
  13. Hi mate, welcome to SAU. G35 sedan? Nice. There will be nicer and more modified G35 in the states as here, we are very restricted in mods by traffic authorities. Anyhow, please post up photos when you can.
  14. Always a pleasure to meet another V-series owner. I agree with you on not having a very loud exhaust system, especially on a sedan. I would suggest to go with 19 / 20 inch wheels as they will look nicer than 18 inch. There are information on SAU concerning intake systems to help you get started. I can't give you any suggestion on this as mine is still stock engine wise. Good luck.
  15. Yeah, not the best. But better than the outgoing models.
  16. You are welcome, Cam. Thanks for the info on the wheels. I might run 20x8 +30. I will still have to find out what stock offsets are on my Dualis.
  17. Hi Rianto, Can you ship to Perth? If so, can you please pm me the total price? One of my friend (Not on SAU) is looking for one and I am sure he will be interested. I will let him know tonight via Facebook about this. Thanks Rianto.
  18. Yeah. Most things in WA are more expensive than the eastern states.
  19. Ok, that should look awesome. I look forward to seeing the outcome. Your Soarer looks really outstanding too.
  20. Hi everyone, The website carsales.com.au has announced that 2010 Nissan Dualis won Carsales.com.au 2010 People's Choice Award "Compact SUV" for the year 2010. I can't wait to get mine, hopefully around Christmas. (http://www.carsales.com.au/news/2010/nissan-scores-hat-trick-in-carsalescomau-peoples-choice-awards-22809).
  21. Yeah, better be sure than find it the hard way later on. But I swear I saw on one of Hot4s magazine 5-6 months ago that V35 is on the list of P-plate legal car.
  22. Do you mean chroming work done on you Soarer? It should be interesting. By the way, Soarer (& 300ZX) is one of my favourite car when I was young. I like twin-turbo automatic models and would put on Vertex bodykit on pearl white color and gold rims. But I didn't end up getting one here in Perth because there were heaps of them back in my country (Burma). So I chose V35 and drive something different.
  23. Wow. You work really hard, mate. It's good to see that, although you work at Nissan and get to know and work on all kinds of ADM cars, you still have interest in imports. Anyhow, you could try calling up your state transport department if you want to know about what cars you can legally drive. If V35 is on that list, you probably have to wait until you get off your P.
  24. Really? I didn't know that. Thanks for the info, Chris. Electrically, worse than V35?
