  1. Hi Jason, I would go for R34 GTT as I prefer the looks of them over R33 (Unless you are getting R33 GTR ) My friend has 1 and they are good cars. At the end, it's up to you. Good luck.
  2. Hi Marianne. How did the WCC doggy day cruise go? Yeah, it could be your car that I see sometimes around Kenwick area but didn't actually see the WCC sticker though. I am friends with a few WCC people (Rhys, Lachlan & Jess). Anyhow, please post up if another doggy day cruise happen and we will try our best to come.
  3. I thought Chrysler gone bankrupt last year. Anyhow, not good looking as the outgoing models, except the interior. I prefer the older models with the looks...more boxy shaped and more tough looking. This is more VIP style for the Princes and Princesses.
  4. Anybody reckon that's a write-off?
  5. Hi, mate. Congrats on your purchase. What are your plans for it? Are you chasing more power, or going for the looks first? As with the cat-back exhaust, did that come installed with your car? Photos might help to identify it.
  6. Hi mate, I don't know all the laws in all the states, but I also think it's best to wait for a car of what you really want. 2-3 years of P-plate will go quick, plus you can save up during that time to do the mods you want later on. I waited for mine too until I can afford it and do the mods later on. Good luck.
  7. Great work on SAU site upgrade, guys. Looks more clean and professional.
  8. Thanks for the link, Oz. Now, you mentioned it and you have a pearl white V36 sedan, there's 1 here in Perth, WA, that has a black roof (Not sure if it's overlay or painted) for sale at my dealer that I bought my V from. I have a photo of it from Perth Autosalon 2010, and will post up this week when I get a chance.
  9. Hi Alex, sorry if my post looks like talking down on P-platers. I only meant some (Really really bad ones) that drive well above speed limit with loud music on, overtaking everyone they can overtake, etc. Maybe they are in a hurry for something, I don't know. I might also add I encountered more girls than guys too. Anyhow, I got nothing against P-platers (So far as no one has caused me any problems...yet).
  10. Haha, yeah. Something like that.
  11. Spotted silver R35 GTR in Applecross area (WA) at 1:00pm on Sunday (5-12-10) while on cruise with Zeds and V-series Skylines.
  12. Hi Cam, just want to say I like how you done up your X-Trail. Like I said, I couldn't afford brand new X-Trail and do all the things I want to do later on. But I am happy with my Dualis. What coilovers and rims are you running on? Looks very nice.
  13. Haha, Rhys. Don't get me started on this again, mate. (You are like 5th person to ask me that kind of question. ).
  14. Yeah. I am keeping my fingers crossed in finding the right style and size. If not, I wouldn't mind 20 inch as well. We will see how it goes.
  15. Great cruise, guys. It was nice to meet new Zeds owners and catch up with fellow V-series owners as well. Great thanks to Ross and Luke for organizing the cruise and Olly for posting the invite on SAU. Hope to see you guys again.
  16. Nice one you got there with original Kenstyle parts, Chris. I have not seen a Stillen front bar on a caribbean blue V35 coupe, so should be interesting.
  17. Now you mention it, Alem. There was 1 Mercedes coupe (Late 2004 by the look of it, I don't know Mercedes) last night that was driving like a noob on Albany Hwy, changing lanes without signaling, speeding up and slowing down unnecessarily, etc. Anyway at next traffic lights, he gave it abit go next to me, so I floored it abit (It was sprinkling rain so I didn't floor it hard from stop to avoid wheels spin if you know what I mean) and left him for dead after 60km/h. At next lights, 2 guys in the car were just dead staring at my car (Yeah, see the Skyline badge! ).
  18. Damn, that's bad. I also hate the fact that kids (or some P-platers) think they can drive! It's just a shame.
  19. Hi mate, 1. Installing a grounding kit claims for HP increases and "smoother shifting". 2. Aftermarket pod filters are said to improve performance and fuel consumption, It also sound real grunty under the hood and gain a little power from NA engine. Pod filters are illegal unless installed properly with heat shield. K&N panel filter replaces the stock panel filter and it just helps more clean air for engine to breathe. It doesn't make much grunt or gain power as pod filter. 3. Basically, aftermarket plenum spacers (Brand : Motordyne) either increase the overall height of the stock plenum or remove the downward slope design of stock plenum, allowing more volume and greater airflow to all cylinders. Higher airflow is needed to achieve more power. Hope these help.
  20. Hey mate, thanks for the info. That would be great. I will pm you as soon as I decide on it.
  21. Nice example of V36 you got there, mate.
  22. 1. Spotted sliver V35 coupe with aftermarket rims on Murray street near CPP multi-level car park (WA) at 8:00pm on Friday (3-12-10). I was walking on the side of the road with my Mrs. 2. Spotted silver V35 coupe with stock rims at Belmont Forum shopping centre parked in undercover car park (WA) at 4:40pm on Saturday (4-12-10). 3. Spotted silver V35 coupe with aftermarket rims in front of Makan Makan cafe in Vic park (WA) at 8:00pm on Saturday (4-12-10).
  23. Yeah, I was actually thinking about colour coding the underneath part of the bumpers. Thanks for that idea, Rowan.
  24. I think it's still abit new and not alot of modified V36 in Australia yet.
  25. That's ok, mate. I wouldn't mind Nissan X-Trail. But we were in the market for brand new car and X-Trail was abit more expensive. So we decided to save that amount and go the Nissan Dualis. And yes. I am serious with 21 inch rims, and possibly lower in the future. Do you think 21 inch is too big?
