  1. Damn...that's the nicest Mark 2 I've ever seen. You know you can make it VIP-ish with V36 sedan too. (Trying to keep you in a Nissan team. )
  2. Nice one.
  3. Really? Maybe just 1 baby on board?
  4. V36 sedans are heaps better than V35 sedans. But compare to that Mercedes-Benz, it's another world. I sat in that CLS350 for 3 minutes and it's worth every penny of the price. On side note, the photo is actually funny, seeing there are two steering wheels in it. Imagine if there are two drivers, one Japanese and one European.
  5. ^ That is correct. Even if you don't go past the speed limit, fast acceleration is unacceptable for them. At the end of the day, it's just not worth it for you to pay the fine and go through the pits just because you accelerated fast or did something stupid.
  6. Excessive noise, hooning and reckless driving. One of my friend got that (excessive noise) on our last cruise, which was done by somebody else. But he took off abit fast afterwards from the lights and they saw him from across the road and came after him. Either way, they got you for something.
  7. ^ +1 for that. Also, I think, performance wise, hatch is better at cornering and handling as Subaru rally drivers used and prefered the hatch.
  8. I am in the same boat as you, Dames. Personally, I love my V35 coupe but will be needing more practical car in 3-4 years time for expanding family, plus abit of turbo power for driving pleasure. For that, I would choose a 2010 STI hatch. They are very spaceable (Groceries shopping, airport transfer, baby pram, etc.), not 100% track purpose like Evo's (Good for city driving and long distance drives), and..oh my god..they are so damn sexy in a flash with those pump out guards. All you need to make it outstanding is a drop, carbon fibre goodies and exhaust. Sure it looks like a done-up Hyundai or Kia, but everybody knows it's a STI now. The sedan and Evo 10 looks nice too, but not as practical as hatch for my likings. I would only go for a STi sedan or Evo if I have another daily (Hatchback or 4WD) and have extra cash to spend on track works.
  9. Now that you mentioned the things that are essential to do this job, the guy that installed the coilovers wrong didn't have those low down slopes. Me and Steve had to hold the car up from underneath the front wheel arches so he can get his floor jack out from under the front bumper after lowering the car.
  10. Good find, mate. Very nice information of Deawoo...sorry, I mean Daewoo.
  11. Speaking of which, I have seen this RX7 in Thornlie area last year...has to be one of the nicest RX7 in WA. Looking forward to seeing it again as to catch those bastards...even with green body and black stock bumpers. I've told my Mrs and my brother about this too, so I've three sets of eyes from me. Good luck to us all.
  12. Ok, that's not good at all. Let us know how it goes man. We might catch up again this Friday or Saturday night.
  13. Great guy. I bought Volk Gt-C from him in 2009.

  14. Oh my, I hope the translation go well.
  15. What the heck! In that case, I think the health club has to be responsible as one of their staff actually hand the keys over to the wrong person.
  16. Steve, you got it sorted with the coilovers, or do you still have to go back to that guy?
  17. So the car was parked at Goodlife health club centre and the key was taken from the front desk?? Damned! So no security camara or anything in that area? Maybe it was also one of the member there?
  18. So sorry to hear about your car, mate. Will keep a look out for it and should be able to spot it from miles out with that kind of colour and mods. (Just wondering how the car got stolen though, but it's none of my business.)
  19. Yeah, first I thought Skyline driver was a culprit. Anyway, at least it's not another Skyline driver wrapped around a tree or something. That Lancer driver got some really bad issues.
  20. Yup. I was laughing my head off in the car when they did that. I mean...Come on, Daewoo sedan with 4 people. I can still see their tail lights for another 10 minutes even after flooring it.
  21. Hey mate, sorry to hear about your window and hope you get it done without much drama. We would love your V to come along as your engine and exhaust make awesome note. Next cruise should be at the end of November and it will be posted up in coming few weeks. Good luck with fixing the window and looking forward to seeing you at the next cruise.
  22. Yeah, you do get that sometimes. But also I've had really good people at lights that talk about the cars, mostly imports owners. Speaking of which, I had a Daewoo sedan with 4 people in the car catch up to me doing 85km/h in 70km/h from behind last night. I was like "Here we go again". At the next lights, he showed me thumbs up with everyone looking at my car, and then they floored it. What is the meaning of that? I am not going to race with a Daewoo.
  23. Spotted 2 silver V35 coupes drove past in front of Makan Makan cafe in Vic park (WA) around 9:00pm on Saturday (23-10-10). Me and CRISP 35 were parked outside.
  24. Good luck again Doddy. Let us know how things go.
  25. Mate, taking Nissan car to Nissan place can work out ok as well. I just reckoned Fabcar is a better choise because: 1). Fabcar specialises in import/performance cars and pretty sure Doddy's GT8 is not the first they have dealt with. 2). From my experience, I prefer Fabcar than Nissan, especially with V35. Months ago, my window motor broke and Fabcar was going to fix it. But I took it to Nissan just for fun, parked the car out the front and talked to the guys of "Nissan" about the problem. I showed my car parked outside, pointed to it and said "There is my car.". They said "What is that car? I have never seen that car before. Is that a new Skyline after or before R35 GTR? blah blah." So yeah. Stuff that I am not giving my keys to someone who don't even know what car until they look at my unshaved boot. I am not refering to all Nissan though. But in Perth, there are not many options. That's my experience.
