  1. Nicely done-up V, mate.
  2. Good luck and let us know how it goes and how much it sets you back. I bought my coupe from Fabcar and I only go to them for my servicing and maintainence as they always do a good job. Do you know Nick from Fabcar? He has a silver V35 coupe and a enthusiastic owner as well...very friendly guy.
  3. By any chance, does anybody know how many stars rating in safety for the V35 coupe?
  4. ^+1 for the info. To be honest, I don't know all the detail differences of the oil brands and their specifications. I just said I want the best they can offer, so I went with Mobil 1 from the start.
  5. Hey Aaron, I use Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and serviced at Fabcar. I got my V from there and Nick, who works there, is a really good guy and takes good care of my V. He also drives a V35 coupe so he knows abit about the car too.
  6. Go for the R32 GTR. As long as you have money to fix up things, you are all good to go. There's a price to pay to drive a "Godzilla".
  7. If you get it repair in Perth, there will be lots of driving to do...bring the V to Perth with Pajero, go back to Geraldton with Pajero, come back to Perth with Pajero to get the V, and drive both cars back to Geraldton.
  8. Back to Original post, the worst modification for me would be putting seat covers on. I think it's dated and also in the way of air bag deploying in case of accident.
  9. No licence too? What a dodgy driver. She will be in big trouble.
  10. Just serviced my V today for 90,000km. $240 with fully synthetic oil, plus $230 for one tyre because of a crack (fitted and balanced).
  11. Up to you, mate. You are the organizer. If you make it all makes and models, you can have more friends coming along. If you make it just Skylines, it will be abit more special. Just my thought.
  12. That's a long time, Paul. Guess you will be missing your V for a while.
  13. I think he sold it, Tarun. The whole stock kit was for sale like 3-4 months ago. Good luck again Paul. Keep us updated in how it goes.
  14. If it's only for track use, go for the GT/GT-T and spend heaps on Mods. One of my friend did pretty much the same as you. He built up his GT-T with RB26 in it, etc. for track and spent lots on it. But now, I think he's selling it for $30k+.
  15. ^ +1 for the ECU. I also don't know with S15 but my mate's Evo 8 MR was the same and he said retuning will get rid of it. His car just die at every stop and has to start up again.
  16. Arhh...Paul. So sorry to hear about the accident. It's so heart breaking to see that happen. Hope you get it fixed quickly and not have much drama.
  17. Hi Kurt, it was great to catch up with you again. We will definitely try to get more VQ-series owners for cruise no.6. Thanks for staying on for BBQ too...although we still had plenty left over. Looking forward to see you again at the next event.
  18. Hi everyone, These are photos from me.
  19. Hi mate, thanks. Yes, we had a great day out. Could have been better if we got more previous owners to come along as well. But we are happy with the outcome.
  20. Very nice photos, Tarun. Thanks. I will be uploading mine tonight.

  22. Hi everyone, it was great to meet VQ-series owners on cruise no.5 (17-10-10). Thank you to all who attended and those who couldn't attend, we look forward to seeing you in future events. WA VQ-series cruise no.6 will be organised in December (First or second week). Thank you.
  23. Welcome Alem. There are other friendly and helpful WA V-series members on SAU as well and you will get to know them in no time. Any questions, ask away. Enjoy your V and looking forward to see you at the next cruise.
  24. Ok, it must have been my Mrs or xtc Mrs, or maybe someone else. Anyhow, you have joined SAU just in time of summer where regular meets and cruises are going to be organised. Next VQ-series event is in November and its information will be posted up in a week or two. By the way, is that your car in avatar picture with Veilside front bar? Mine is also Veilside.
  25. Hi Alem, What date and time does the cruise says? Me and another WA member, xtc, made up little slip of papers saying about WA V-series that we slit in the wipers when we see a V-series parked on the road. Anyway, nice to meet you. You just missed out on WA VQ-series cruise no.5 last Sunday (17-10-10). Next VQ-series event will be in November and will confirm date, time and place soon. You can look up our previous cruise information on relevant threads. Hope to see you at the next event.
