  1. Yeah, they definitely look great.
  2. Matte silver? I haven't seen that before!
  3. Aww, ok. I know what you mean now. MY11 WRX looks way better than the previous models. Good buy.
  4. Welcome to the V-series community. Enjoy owning your V35. Welcome, mate. What colour body vinyl are you thinking of?
  5. Mate, don't tell me you are the owner of that yellow wide body Chargespeed STI hatch??
  6. Logan area? Jeez, I better start paying more attention to weather now in Logan area. Speaking of weather, the report for this weekends is not that great either (Few showers). I think it need to be confirm again on Friday. We should get a better forecast by then for the weekends. Please be updated on Friday. Any more interests, let me know. Thank you.

Hi everyone, My name is Victor and I recently relocated to Brisbane from Perth. I currently own a 2004 Nissan Skyline V35 350GT coupe with few mods that I brought over. If there are any events conerning with imports scene in QLD, I will try to attend and meet up with you guys.
  8. Hey Nath, that's a good idea. We can have a big V-series cruise during that time. If you can get as much Northside Brisbane V-series owners around that time, I am sure most V-series owners from Southside will join in too.
  9. That's all right, mate. Let me know if you change your mind and when it's fixed. By the way, when and where that hail happened?
  10. Yeah, I thought of you guys from Northside as well. We will definitely need to do something where most owners from north and south can enjoy together. I will try to plan something out one day. Regarding the time of the meet, the main reason I chose 3pm was because of the BBQ. Mostly, people occupy that BBQ spot during lunch time. If you can't make it this time, I will make sure that the time is more appropriate next time. I do have an idea. If you decide to come, you can come earlier and I can be there. Yeah, sorry about the inconvenience mate. Please let me know if anything changes. Thanks.
  11. Sure, mate. Shall see you there if you can make it. The weather sure is funny. It's now sunny!

  13. Hi everyone, QLD V-series owners meet-and-greet had been postponed due to bad weather. Following is updated. Location: Grand Tce (Off Jarvis Rd), Waterford, 4133 (Parking on Grand Tce next to BBQ/Play ground) Date: 28-08-2011 (Sunday) - [TBC coming week] Time: 3:00pm - 4:30pm Please post if you are interested. I will provide a BBQ. If anyone coming want to bring foods over, you are most welcome to do so as well. Looking forward to it. Thank you.
  14. Hey everyone. Yes, it will be next Sunday, same time and place. But let me confirm it again on coming Tuesday after checking how the weather forecast will pen out. It looks like there will be showers for coming week. Hopefully, it will clear before coming weekends.
  15. Hey everyone, the rain stopped now but still looks like it will rain again. So it looks like we might have to postpone the meet to next Sunday. If that's the case, can I please get replies from everyone who planned to come today that they are updated? So I know everyone is updated. I will update this thread asap after I check the weather for next Sunday. Sorry about the inconvenience, guys. Please let me know. Thank you.
  16. Hey everyone, I woke up to the rain this morning. I will update again at 12pm. If it does not stop raining by then, we won't be able to have BBQ. So do anyone of you guys want to postpone this meet to next Sunday same time if the weather is good?
  17. (1). Spotted a silver V35 coupe on McCullough St turning onto Mains Rd near Sunnybank Plaza in Sunnybank area (QLD) at 1:25pm on Saturday (20-08-2011). (2). Spotted a silver V35 coupe on Compton Rd in Sunnybank Hills area (QLD) at 3pm on Sarurday (20-08-2011). I was in my white Nissan Dualis.
  18. Hey guys, I just checked the weather and it said possible shower. At least it's not thunder storm. There might be partly shower and doesn't look too bad. Hopefully, our meet area get spared. I already got all BBQ things sorted if it's all good to go ahead. I will update first thing tomorrow morning with weather in the area. If it's looking bad by then and some of the owners decide not to come, it's understandable. Just let me know. Hopefully it's just early and partly shower. If it's all good tomorrow, I will see you guys.
  19. Ha, now you are the rain man, Nath. Well, seriously hoping not raining at meet time. Back in WA, we did get bad weather report collided with cruises but most of the time, it's ok. It's August, so not much chance of showers like in June or July. Will check weather again tomorrow.
  20. Yeah, no lines marked for that parking. As long as we park close to side of the street, it will be fine. I have seen cars parked there before. Is that open car park close from BBQ place? If you know that place well, we can check it out if others want to.
  21. Sorry about what happened to your V35. If it make you feel abit better, the damage could have been worse. Looks like your quarter panel was spared. You can even get away with buying a used silver colour bumper. Shouldn't be more than $600-$700.
  22. Sure, mate. Thanks for the update. Even if you haven't done so and feel like meeting us, you are welcome to do so too. I myself haven't got my V35 yet because of busy schedule with CEVA transport. If I don't get it tomorrow, I won't have it on coming Sunday. It's just meet-and-greet, so come meet and greet your fellow V-series owners. It would also help when we have the next event, where most of us would have known each other more.
  23. Hey Andrew, just a thought regarding the body kit. Since it's your wife's car, I am guessing she will do more driving daily. In that case, I would suggust getting a subtle and not all-out kit like Greddy, Chargespeed, etc. V35 are pretty low from factory. Even with 19 inch wheels and low profile tyres on mine, I would scrapped on bumps if I don't slow down. After putting on Veilside + Webersport body kit, I am not confident on driving on ramps that look high anymore. So unless the car is only driven on weekends from point A to B on the road that you know very well, it won't be a good idea. Just a subtle kit like JP Visage, Nismo or even lowered with no kit look good for me.
  24. Oh really? What you think of the place? It's abit of a drive into the area. Other than that, I think it's a good place, and will be better when road/park works finish. I live like 2 minutes away from it. Worst case if it's rain heavily, me and my wife will invite whoever come into our home. I just checked the weather and it said possible early shower. So hopefully it will be all good in the evening.
