  1. Meh... if you're gonna get stabbed, you're gonna get stabbed. I'd like to see you muay thai a truck
  2. I saw some awesome road rage yesterday. A truck was half blocking the road and a typical なにわ ナンバー driver was dawdling along doing her makeup or checking her Mixi or whatever and swerved into the next lane at the last minute to avoid a truck half blocking her lane. An old dude in a Subaru Liberty had to swerve to maintain a safe distance, then drove along swerving fairly violently next to her until the next set of lights which she managed to sneak throuigh. Anyway, I checked out the car that had been swerving around and he had Nankang NSII tyres on a Liberty RS... So I guess it was dangerous that he had to swerve hehehehe...
  3. Sorry, I am writing invoices for defi gauges!
  4. Hehe... I think you need to put my kanji through google translate to see how badly I read.
  5. You have to write more so I can misread it amusingly!
  6. I have admited my defeat, but now I enjoy it... I read a cool story about some cat in the woods that forgot something in the morning!
  7. I just wish I could read more kanji This is how I read! 朝林猫りの朝林猫りわちょっと忘れちゃった <-- Laurence's crappy brain 胡麻擂りの胡麻擂りわちょっと忘れちゃった <-- What he wrote
  8. 読めへん!
  9. OF COURSE HE IS JAPANESE! But here is the simple version. To the average tabloid reading Japanese housewife/businessman CRIME = GAIJIN. I have had students that could not even accept the concept that a Japanese person could lie! The same moronic attitude exists in Australia. I guess I just notice it here more because I am foreign.
  10. Akeenan and I, through a linguistic device commonly referred to as irony, are attempting to highlight certain less than desirable conclusions that some residents of this country may summarily reach. You will find that 99% of my posts are like that. Taking me literally is a bad mistake.
  11. If not one of those two he could have been Ainu. They are savages, they worship bears!
  12. Most crimes in Japan are due to foreigners... I suspect he is of Korean or Chinese ancestry or possibly he was a US Marine. Copied from another forum:
  13. As far as multipiston theory goes... I always thought it was to give greater leverage on the rotor for the same diameter of rotor. In a racing series brake diameter is limited by wheel size or regulation. You can run bigger rotors by running low profile calipers but also the further out you put the pad the more leverage it has. Anyway just a theory I made up, so feel free to ignore it. I drew something in MS-paint using the pad on my laptop but then gave up cause it was too hard. Anyway just based on Torque = Force x Length it made sense to me.
  14. The people I have met who can speak good conversational Japanese all learnt it through studying boring formal Japanese. I have never heard anyone (including myself) who can speak remotely well from simplying "picking it up".
  15. Watch the third minute! Not sure about anyone else, but I actually hate watching dyno runs, but I guess it is the easiest way to test the car without complicated datalogging and other risks associated with track or street tuning.
  16. You do realise it goes all through the night you smashed Aussies! Go now!
  17. I am the king of emo...
  18. S'all good... sorry for harassing you! I just wanted pics, I thought you were holding out on us!
  19. This thread should be in the Japan section so I would see it!!! Picture of yourself giving me the finger required!
  20. HAhaha... don't get emo on me. We tried asking nicely and that didn't work so I thought I would try harrassment instead! Who reads the General forum anyway...
  21. Well the good thing about driving in Golden Week is that you have lots of time to look at the map so it is really hard to get lost!
  22. Lieing about buying the car is NOT COOL dude!

I have a horrible feeling there are two frozen corpses half way up Mt Fuji
  24. Not really, the tread of the tyre is covered from the top from what I can see. But my opinion matters a lot less than that of the local police. Maybe give them a yell and ask. They may be helpful or may tell you to jam it.But styling wise the most important thing about your wheel offset is to match it front and rear, nothing looks weirder than flush 5mm clearance on the rear with the fronts sunken in an inch... I see it a lot here in Japan with VIP style Toyota sedans. It doesn't look very nice.
