  1. Heh me too... Not that there is anything wrong wit that
  2. Yes static is definitely a worry. I should get a static strap for the car I think. I have zapped myself on the car a few times, one time I even SAW a spark But anyway, it is all good and we are all friends again.
  3. I bet my electrical engineering degree on it. Well while my mirth induction skills may be somewhat lacklustre I would like you to have a really good think about the email you got. In the same way that the emails currently circulating trick people into giving out their details actually includes a copy of information from the bank's website specifically telling them not to do what the email is asking them to do. The email you have forwarded refers to the site I mentioned above which clearly states that while static is a danger, cell phones are not. They are just relying on people not checking the "fine print" as it were. You claim that the site backs the letter up, yet you obviously did not check it before forwarding it. Also an email from a large company would never ever finish with "I ask you to please send this information to ALL your family and friends..." if that doesn't wreak of chain letter than nothing does... You state that the events are not well documented. There are video cameras (these days with very high quality) at every single petrol station, if there ever was an event the footage would get out. The environment at a refinery is very different to that of a petrol station as anyone from Shell who has walked down a steel gantry surrounded by pipes and vapours will tell you... I have worked for a number of large companies and there are gullible idiots in all of them that spammed my email with the latest fake virus warnings or "watch out or you will lose your kidneys" email. Shell is no different. But if you are happy with absence of proof not indicating proof of absence I have some WMD to sell you.
  4. I expect more of people on this forum... At least take two seconds to read the link that this fake document cites. http://www.pei.org/faq/index.asp?CATE=0#2 p.s. MLCRisis I hope you have "confirmed your netbanking details" via email...
  5. 3rd gear at about 7,000rpm in a BCNR33 with 345rwkW and stock (non-V) suspension and 245/45R17 A032R tyres the car does a weird feeling that the car was sort of walking around at the rear, almost like it was being rotated on its longitudinal axis. It felt bizarre... I don't know if it was slight wheelspin or what it was... But it was very strange.
  6. Yep... can't remember the Civic, but Gan San was definitely driving an NSX. I wish I knew where all those tapes were. I lost heaps when I moved house... It's all good... it was a stupid bit of trivia for me to bring up anyway. But you know there is some Para Para tragic out there who actually cares... Best reply of this thread! I always thought drag racing was a waste of a Skyline's abilites... Why have multilink suspension, G-sensors and an 4WS/4WD just to go down the return road... Second point is exactly right... Unless you are pulled off the teat and put into a go-kart you won't get your racing paid for here.
  7. Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Serial Experiments Lain... As for Initial D, yes, you are missing out bigtime!
  8. The music from Initial D is Eurobeat, not J-pop The worst part about US-spec Initial D(ude) is the visual effects on the CGI race sequences!!! I remember watching my old Hot Version videos back in 1997 where they had drifting. I thought it was quite amazingly stupid. I also remember Ken Nomura (in his S14) getting a "grip" driving lesson from Gan-san... LOL. How things change.
  9. Try these guys http://www.chasers.com.au/aerokit.aspx I haven't dealt with them but their website looks ok
  10. This one is even nicer!
  11. Don't they have sarcasm in Geelong? Anyway, so neons are rice on a 100hp Lancer but not rice on a 468ps Skyline? Hmm so what is the cutoff, 300hp? How much power do you need before you can have fluffy dice, 500hp? :headspin:
  12. Well Top Secret might not have an R34 D1 car but Blitz certainly does... Typical ricer with bling bling chromies and neons
  13. Oh yeah... some Japs girls get round eye fever after too much sake
  14. Generalisations are a useful social tool, it allows you to make judgements based on incomplete information. The penalties for being wrong in your assumptions are usually less than the ones for ignoring them... As long as you can cope with skivvy wearing latte sippers calling you a bigot
  15. One thing you will learn as you get older is that all people are wankers. People just make the mistake of grouping them somehow. People drive Skylines People are wankers P-platers are people Therefore Skyline driving p-platers are wankers... It works no matter what group you use, women, asians, wogs, men, old people.
  16. I just got a copy of the entry form for this night... Just in case anyone else wants a copy it is attached...
  17. Ask and yee shall recieve... Maybe you should give your neighbour the link below (if he can use a computer) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=42567
  18. This kind of thing always puzzles me... Why get a nice N1 block, then hone it out (1mm!!!!) reducing the wall thickness? 1mm doesn't sound like a lot but when you are pushing out lots of hp/ci every little bit counts. People on here complain about cracking stock blocks with 600hp... Maybe there is no replacement for displacement...
  19. While we are picking on it should be a BCNR33 too Sometimes I can be lysdexic as well...
  20. Get to the Chopper...DO IT!!!
  21. Is that true or did your just read that on teh intarnet?
  22. These are some pics of my little trip... Hope to be heading back ASAP. This just reminded me a bit of Family's from Initial D Which luckily enough I got to watch at about 2am in my hotel room! Hello Kitty sub box... I love it Ever since I was a kid I wanted to ride the bullet train, I had a nice big smile when the YOU ARE NOW TRAVELLING IN EXCESS OF 300km/h came up on the LCD screen. I lucked into the coolest looking train as well, expensive habit though! Japan is a pretty amazing place, the slow train to Kochi let me take in some countryside... The local Up Garage was pretty cool too Just a cool (not exactly modded to my taste) R34 Anyway... Japan is weird. Can't wait to get back there
  23. And here is the list of changes made from the J-Spec BNR32 to the Aussie BNR32 http://laurent.customer.netspace.net.au/GT...ecification.pdf
