I was under that impression too when I was looking around at alarms but I was talking to the guys at freeway car audio who did the install for me and they said they do comply if you get an all black wiring harness. Which they could order.

Use Etch Primer, not normal primer. I sprayed mine 3 years ago, used etch primer and black over the top. The only problem I can see with mine are some chips here and there probably from bugs or stones.

I guess if you're into that, Dunno, my reasoning behind the gtr was if I want 300 awkw I'd like to be able to put it down and also not have to worry so much in the wet. I couldn't really imagine enjoying a car that lights em up everytime you're on full boost.
