but. the flames? seriously though its not worth it ey, if all you get out of it is some flames and a non-noticable power increase. if you got the car with an exhaust already wouldnt bother stuffin around man, if it were completely stock on the other hand, would get a whole new turbo back.

Would buy it if it were in perth (and if it were thumbs up from thourough mechanic inspection), not interested in interstate transport tho.. wicked car!

Hi i dont mean to hijack your thread, with this Autowatch alarm system with the built in timer, sounds good, is it defectable? Do most alarm/security/elec mechanics supply and fit this thing or is it rare and needs to be bought from america or something.. Cheers.

I like the look of the 32 gtr's better than the 33's, just has a tougher stance when its dumped on 18's. however it is almost becoming a classic. I wouldnt want to have to fret about it (if things go wrong), with a house waiting to be paid off.. IMO dump the house and live in your car then you can make a 7 sec godzilla streeter.. whilst having insane banana dance raves.. tough decision man.

test drove a r33 gtst the other day, it just came off the boat and hadnt gone through pits or been fixed up or anything. It kept stalling whenever you got into the lower revs between 1-2k rpm i think, it had a blitz BOV.. Or maybe the battery was knackered?

Hey guys this sounds like a good thing to do, though im curious.. what happens if say you get caught, have to go over pits with everything all back to stock standard, then put all the "illegal" stuff back on, then get yellow stickered again. do they keep a record? do you get in trouble? or just do it over n over again? I got a quote today for a 3 1/2in X-force turbo back stainless system for $1600 supplied. I was gonna probably go with the xforce but after reading this i probably wont with all this about the cat business, is there another simliar alternative that would bolt on like the xforce and wont cost too much more?

Ok im not sure how it works.. Can i take it to a mechanic of choice? Do i have to make a deposit beforehand? Who will transport it? If something is wrong and needs fixing, will it cost more? Sorry for the noobish questions, any help would be much appreciated.

You could call me paranoid i guess, thats all, as i was screwed over by a mob known as buckinghamdrive autos, i wont spell the name with capitals. Thanks for the input guys. I will definently be getting the car looked at, though not sure whether to get a mobile mechanic or take it to a mechanics and get her on the hoist. The reason im freaked out by the Crisp White Duco is because im scared i might buy one thats been written off then been bodged together with some sticky tape and blue tak.. Ive fell for that one once.. The few that ive been looking at are between 80-90,000kms which is about right? Im aware of some people winding kms back on the dash so i wont fall for that crap.. Theres a thread on here somewhere about "What to look for when buying a skyline" or other, which ive copy and pasted so i can take it with me when i go check the cars out haha, hope the dealer's got a few hours. Hi guys im new to this forum (which is very informative), i was wondering if anyone could help me. Im set on buying an R33 GTST II and not keen on buying one that has been in the hands of a non-japanese person eg, one thats been thrashed to the shitter. Ive come across a decent/legitimate looking import car dealer (is there such a place?), called Distinctive Car Imports based in Wangara, Perth. http://www.dcimports.com.au/ Now what Ive noticed is that most of they're cars and mainly the skylines are, "Finished in a Crisp White Duco". And look if not, in completely mint condition with wicked low k's, im not sure they've been given a respray because of the previous owner has crashed it or something, or if they just respray it so it sells better and they can afford to? Can anyone share their thoughts please?
