drag car aye.. ok i might know a weeny bit. what class you looking at competing? because if its higher classes, id be looking at getting a 3/4 chassis or a full chassis made. so dont bother about too much about body condition, except for the roof and doors ! most of the other panels will be fibreglass. how serious in terms of drag is it going to be? because drag / track = not same driveline different, tough manualised gearbox for drag, 5spd for track, etc i wouldnt worry about stereo, rims, exhaust, etc. and if you are on a small budget, then drag racing isnt the sport you want to build a car. and budgets blow out bigtime... i went from a simple 3540/6boost/nitto/80Lb inj, setup ... to a T51/6boost/nitto/220Lb setup ... why? because intercooling bugged me do it right the first time, dont take shortcuts. etc

and is that 225/45/R17 the original tyre that was $120, or a new one?

only the R34 GTR rims remain, now with legal tyres will consider swaps of JAP (no china) 17x9 rims offset must be +15 to +20.

yeh had to get the hub bored out a tiny bit. but its still good for skyline, it located well on the hub on my 32

location: Perth 0405 255 824 willing to freight interstate at buyers expense ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18" R34 GTR rims they have been professionally powdercoated in a gloss black. they do not come with the centrecaps. theres the occasional scratch and stuff, but nothing serious. theres a bit of rash (minimal), but was powdercoated over, so its impossible to notice $2100 ono rims: 18x9" +30 offset tyres: 235/40/R18 Nexen N6000s, not road legal. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17" R34 GTT rims $500 ono good condition, few little scrapes here and there on the rims comes with 4 centrecaps tyres: 225/XX/R17 3 are 1mm above the tread wear indicator 1 has heaps more (looking like 70% tread) on it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17" Buddy Club P1s $1100 ono rims: 17x8 +37 17x9 +42 they have a couple of scratches and nicks, but nothing serious. tyres: fronts, 225/XX/R17, have camber wear, but seem legal, will have to double check rears, 235/45/R17, around 1 to 2mm above the tread wear indicators

cheers !!! i get towed to drift practice/comps by my mate... but im looking to get one of those year long permits (costs just under $50) so i can take the 32 to No Limits (a CAMS scrutineered event), due to the fact i dont need to bring spare tyres, jacks etc to No Limits. but yeh, if i cant get 3rd party insurance (not the one with regos) for the 32 when its on permits, then theres no point driving on the road

quick question say you get permits / b-rego ... unregistered car. ..... is it possible to get insurance?

yeh i do too. (well duh ) cos everything has hit a brickwall now. the GT3082 and gate were for the 32 (to be fitted in november) the T51R was for the drag car, and now i have no turbo for it, i cant get the custom manifold (a big pocking through bonnet spec one) made up to suit yet. and the bike, well, it would be nice to ride it. we have our suspisions to who took the gear.. or was involved... but without evidence its hard to prove anything
