  7. and ive got a couple of spare set of standard indicators if you try this and F it up Juz
  8. I agree with NA_goodness. carbon fibre, bride seats and some decent fitment wheels. i prefer a slightly less aggressive fitment with a non-stretched tyre but thats just me (i use 18x9.5 +28 with 245 front and 18x9.5 +38 with 275 rear). this probably makes my car less "JDM" but meh. Blame me for putting the topstage kit idea in his head alr33x, Juz msged me a while ago asking about a lot of the details of my car, and this kit (and lots of juzs list above) are from mine. i think the topstage kit can look good, but thats just my opinion. this leads me to my point for juz. what kind of "JDM". there are lots of different looks out there, from race cars, drifters, VIP cars. just decide in your head what you want from your car, both in performance and looks and build it how YOU want it. thats what i did with mine and i dont even know if other people would call it JDM or not. i dont particularly care because its how i want my car and that what matters. dont chase part names and brands neccesarily. If its a GTS i agree with eps. coilovers and wheels to start, and dont buy copies. Buy second hand cast wheels like Works. As i said last PM Juz, message me if you ever have questions or ideas, im happy to throw ideas around with you.
  9. Erica snapped this one, i think its at turn 2
  10. and I (and any other randoms) really appreciated it! amazing stuff my first time ever in a GTR, and for it to be on a track was just fantastic. My big double thanks to ando; firstly for organising the day. How smoothly and enjoyably the day ran should be taken as a credit to yourself and everyone who helped out. Secondly, thanks so much for the two sessions of instructing. I really feel like i made progress in getting to know the limits of my car that i just wouldnt have without your help, sometimes all we need is a good mate to tell us to grow a pair! Bed time for me. do not pass go, do not collect 200 killerwasps. Goodnight all!
  11. my first attempt at the front, this will be my first pixel car
  12. Pretty please does someone want to do mine? sorry if this is too many / too big photos, just figure its better safe than sorry if you want to see details.. ignore missing right front indicator, took these snaps yesterday as a break from wiring in new indicators many thanks to anyone who has a go!
  13. so so clean. congrats, and hope the bad luck gives you a break for a while now!
  14. finally got around to installing mine, got the same one as partyboy, the NWK901 from norwood auto spares. delivered to sydney in under a week for 45 bucks all up. (http://www.derek.com.au/washer.html if anyone else wants one) really easy to install, about an hour of tinkering. the bracket they supplied i screwed to the fuse cover so the bag pretty much hangs in the position where the original plastic bottle would be. this kit comes with one plug and pair of wires so remember to splice it and connect it to both the nissan plugs if you have a rear window washer and want it to work from this bag as well. cheap defect insurance, or in my case; cheap fix after a defect!
  15. awman, is there actually gonna be anyone left at this rate weather report gets my thumbs up!!
  16. +1 and getting there early means you get dibs on a garage =P
  17. also, possibly a dumb question but group 5 is first. they followed by group 4 or group 1? groups running 1-5 but with 5 first or 5-1?
  18. my two cents; if you are finding yourself right on the back of a car and wanting some room, an option is to just come into the pit entry. drive SLOWLY down pit lane and back out onto the track at the pit exit (make sure you have the wave-on from the pit exit marshall). this puts you on the opposite end of the track of the car you were hounding and you dont have to worry about executing an overtake. just a thought. also, many thanks ando! looks great
  19. SAU Track day coming up soon, getting excited and was looking through my photos, thought id throw a few up.
  20. Hey guys, Front facing plenum means i now no longer have the standard window washer bottle in my R33. im after the little bag that can be used to replace the big plastic bottle >>> or any info on where to source one <<< i know the silver F&E automotive GTR has one but i dont know where to source one. cheers.
  21. my thoughts exactly. and will they do it by next years superlap. and even if they do, will the new platform be enough of an advantage to overcome what little development time a 12 month build-tune&test schedule would allow?
  22. ace job Eric, look forward to seeing it sunday!
