  2. im keen, car is back from kit and paint, but going in for a clutch so let me know what dates and ill get back to you close to the date if i am or am not avail
  3. keypad! im gonna have to disagree with the quoted post. my car came with keychain remote central locking/immobiliser and a second keypad immobiliser fitted. my car was attempted stolen and when i got to it the door was open, lower dash ripped off, key barrel ripped off, bonnet open and alarm ripped out. the ONLY reason i still have my car today is that keypad. sure it may be annoying to type in a code every time you start the car but f**k me its worth it. my 2c
  4. one rim gone is easily explained if the owner has "lost his license several times". a person who drives hard enough on the street to lose his license several times, on gestalt virouge chromies, is highly likely to have smashed a gutter during an epic tokyo drift moment and broken said chromie. if you guys actually are interested just ring, its listed for 5k, clearly its not gonna be mint...
  5. edited post above, nismo reg. and im only learning more about this recently myself but i was just posting my experience
  6. 1cc for 1hp is just an old rule of thumb, i have no idea where it comes from but ive heard heaps of ppl mention it. but yeah +1 for rising rate reg, high duty cycle and boost. 550s make 260rwkw in mine running nowhere near their duty cycle limits EDIT: nismo fuel reg and 19psi, cant rmb afr or exact duty cycles as its only recently been retuned
  7. im gonna go ahead and guess (note guess from similar threads in the past) that its the HICAS computer and 20 or 30 bucks
  8. keen.

  10. yeah so the sarcasm didnt travel on that one hey.
  11. jumped in for what was i think my second ever passenger run. Liz says to Dunc im scared.....for this guy (pointing at me). I wasnt phased, then liz proceeds to go mowing she doesnt want to admit she was trying to impress me.
  12. That yours Jason? Sorry its a static shot
  13. Awesome day! thanks for the opportunity to help out. Also massive thankyou to everyone for being so welcoming and friendly, great to chat to a bunch of new faces today and to finally put faces to names(and avatars ) disclaimer: i am NOT a photographer, i just own a camera... and Chris attempting flight and..well..Ben.
  14. need waaaay more info if you want ppl to be able to help you out. Firstly by bolt on i guess you mean standard ex manifold/ standard position? what injectors/fuel pump/computer do you have? waht is your budget? most importantly what power figure do you want? have a really good read of the rb25 dyno results page http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...yno-t55845.html and then google parts stores for each of the items ppl list in their mods if you want to work out how much each power figure might cost you... (the short answer, in my opinion, is a 3076R) but read the forums, its all there and its all been done a lot of times before.. discussion of 35r and t04z (rly big option for an rb25) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...is-t246293.html discussion of where to spend money on an rb25 might be of use to you http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Op...ut-t305688.html someone with similar question to you http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pr...tml&hl=3076 including a gem post by r31nismoid "280-320rwkw seems to be GT3076 250-280rwkw seems to be GT3071 Thats in the Garretts. There are the cheaper bush bearing items from Hypergear - you'll have to read the 10+ page thread on those though, im not 100% what is what. Then you have GCG hi-flows, 260rwkw using the R34 GT-t turbo/OP6 rear housing. So decide what you want, work it out from what is above, and go search" Thread on choosing between turbos for r33 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...tml&hl=3076 and last but not least a thread in the DIY section of bolting up a gt3076 to an rb25..including prices.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ga...25-t255288.html etc... read three times as much as you post. itll save you time and money. happy reading.

  18. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=383&page=1

  20. count me in for this one, unless of course i dont have my car again
  21. Confirmed. I will still be carless on the 31st. Sorry but after booking so long in advance i just didnt know parts would take this long to all get here. It appears you wont have trouble filling my spot so thats a bonus. Have fun guys, i still might come out for a spectate.
  22. yeah i did this around christmas last year! I bought a navman c60. Didnt get it as good as id like but imo looks quite good, need to finish it up soon. I took out the ashtray and cigarette lighter completely and cut the panel so the hole left by ashtray was now centred and to a rectangle larger then the unit. Then i used sections of foam to make a kind of outline in 3d of where i wanted the unit. I stuck these together with silicon / sikaflex kind of stuff as it quite quick to dry but also gives some vibration absorbance to the backing of it. Layered body filler in stages and lots of time with a mini rotary tool sanding. Sprayed black. Matte black in a can is quite simialr colour to r33 dash imo. Took the power supply for the GPS and wired it to 12v accessories off the back of the cd player and earthed it with a spade clip and a bolt on the metal of body just there. Tip here is solder the wires to the two terminals of the cigarette lighter power supply plug that came with the navman instead of hacking up wiring. The unit will then be charging whenever key is acc or on. Then drilled a hole in bottom of the panel and pushed the power plug through, plug in gps to its new home and voila. Car is at the mechanics atm but i should be going in the next few days and can take pics if youd like. I encased half the depth of the unit, and at a slight angle, so 3/4 of the thickness of the unit is in the dash at the bottom but only half the thickness at the top, so the on/off/reset switch at the top of the unit is still reachable when the unit is in the dash. -Gps signal is fine - regarding heat i shaped the enclosure so the unit has a few mm behind it and vents at the side. this also allows you to hear the speech from the speaker in the back of the unit. - gear stick covers maybe bottom left 20% of the screen when in 5th. - if you dont havea mini rotary tool, buy one. 25 bucks from bunnings. I still stuffed around for about 10-12 hours doing this and thats with a rotary tool. - i use bog instead of fibreglass for ease of use when needing to sand and reshape, price, availability and my skill level (very low with fibreglass, slightly better with filler) Sorry for the long winded post but hope it gives you an idea! jsut have a go and do it, its a cheap panel to replace from a wrecked car if youre not happy in the end..
  23. count me in at this point, crossing my fingers the car will be out of body shop by then.
