  1. And his masterplan surfaces!
  2. Yeah it'd be a massive risk for vettel to go to merc, unlike button going to mclaren which was a pretty safe move, and button was gutsy enough to take on hamilton one-on-one. Imagine if vettel goes to mercedes and it turns out rosberg is an amazing driver. Leaving newey and a team built around you would be pretty crazy
  3. Saw this in the lulz thread Anyone know when it's from?
  4. The world thanks you for your bad luck!! Was good vettele got to be on the podium though, he's had an amazing year. Just so sick of him winning. Button now 32 points ahead of hamilton
  5. Bahaha agreed. Though looking at the times the end of Bathurst will coincide with the start of the Japanese GP. Bathurst will probably run overtime though, good old safety cars
  6. Mark webber's column, interesting analysis of the suzuka circuit http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/formula_one/15185829.stm
  7. What's the 808 story? If no-one minds me asking? SAU-NSW has a pretty amazing safety record, very impressive. What's been changed to avoid the previous incident? Wasn't it mostly bad luck and then bad handling afterwards?
  8. urgh nankangs *shudders*, bad wet weather memories
  9. Back in my karting days I used to use a michron system, with a IR/microwave signal generator beside the track. They also use transponders, but you need the track to be set up for that.
  10. Pretty lucky to get them to offer the rebuild, can't imagine that happens often Edit: Mad's got a point though, they're probably not going to be putting their hearts and souls into the rebuild
  11. Running a good oil containing plenty of detergents (a good quality oil), may help clear any blockages/build ups of crap in the engine. It may take some time though.
  12. Buying an r34 gtr with a tired/old/blown engine/gearbox would be your best bet, then just subbing in your parts.
  13. Damn that sucks mate, sorry to hear that. Good that nothing important was taken. You need to electrify the r34's door-knobs next
  14. ^Bahahahahahahaha
  15. Go Button, into 2nd place, showing hamilton how to do it. People thought button was stupid to go head-to-head with hamilton when he moved from brawn, but button wanted to bring on the challenge. Love it!
  16. ^Likewise. Sorry to hear it mate. Got the plates that were on it?
  17. Interesting, can't argue with that. I was more referring to years gone by. Hamilton tended to be less likely to get stuck behind someone than more timid drivers, at least that's how I remember it.
  18. Agreed, Button had 2 dnf's due to pit-crew failure and hydrolic failure and he still get back ahead of hamilton. And hamilton is no slouch, he is still a wdc and one of the few people in the field who can overtake, up until monza anyways (though this year he's been a bit less effective :s, ie: just hitting people)
  19. Wonder if drs will make much difference there? It's a tight corner and not a massive straight wo they won't be going as fast, but then again they'll be running more downforce because it's a tighter circuit
  20. Anyone using that ultimate drive app from bmw? Seems to have some good drives on it
  21. During the conversion the foot rest could have been taken out to make room for the clutch pedal? It's not necessary, but not all conversions are perfect
  22. From the lulz thread
  23. Mine old r34 gtt had one
  24. link didn't work for me sorry
  25. I don't suppose there's any chance they can be filmed? *Crosses fingers*
