Hi guys, just fitted some r32 gtr rims to my mitsu RVR and have encountered some issues regarding front clearance.
Firstly, and i understand it's quite wrong, i put the rims on without a wheel alignment or balance (as it was a private sale and i wanted to do a fitment test) and on the way home, the ride was pretty shaky as u might understand.
About 10 mins into the drive home i noticed some noise and a little bit of a braking issues!! Yes, just slightly but it felt as tho s.thing was touching....even tho visually and by touch, there seemed to be clearance of all suspension and brakes??
My three theories are firstly, it'll be fixed with a good alignment+balance, second the front will need to run thinner tires (225's on atm), or third and least desirable, i'll need to run spacers to guarantee clearance.
What do you guys think??
If spacers are the answer, i'd rather go all 4 but as small a mm spacer as possible that'll still work.....3mm? 5mm? And where can i get them?
Cheers guys. Oh, below is a pic of how they look for any1 that is interested......i wanted a small but fat rim and i just love the style of the 32GTR, sorry if any1 is offended lol
