  4. Hey mark, Can't just share the product with everyone? It'll help other people out in the future too
  5. Seen the mines baffles Though after finding adam from run it hards build thread, the mines items seem like a waste of money, all i need is to drill some drian holes and add a couple baffle plates http://run-it-hard.com/2013/03/controlled-breathing-part-ii/ [http://run-it-hard.com/2013/03/controlled-breathing-part-ii/attachment=447142:ImageUploadedBySAU Community1389112796.856262.jpg]
  6. Hey guys, I've recently purchased a c34 stagea, running a rb25det with a bigger turbo pushing 18 pound and a Plazmaman forward facing plenum. Basically it was blowing too much oil for my liking, the cheap catch can was set up quite badly too So i upgraded to rb26dett cam covers and stuffed them with some yellow fuel cell foam As well as those i changed from my cheap catch can to a justjap autech style item Anyone else ran the type of baffling in their rb26 covers? Also where is the pcv valve in a rb26? Set up isn't quite the same as the rb25 and mine isn't quite stock either
  7. hicas in r33 and r34 are electric mate
  8. guys.... nissan already make v8s. it'll be a vh/vk50de or something like that
  9. this may sound like a crazy idea BUT, have you thought of reporting them? might put more focus on the commondores/falcons instead of us import owners
  10. yeah, wouldn't mind if it were half the length, could any aerial fit? Mine has stopped going up so i may need to replace the motor anyway
  11. turbo has already been highflowed, pretty sure it is a bush bearing not replaced with ball bearing internals. It has a bit of shaft play and i wanna pull it apart because it's been left open with nothing stopping dirt and shit getting into it. Also i have a mechanic mate who is giving me a hand to rebuild it, he thinks they're pretty easy to rebuild. Questions: anyone done this? Where can i buy a kit/seals etc? I've found a good write up for doing gtr turbos so i'd imagine it's pretty much the same?
  12. try pirtek in canningvale, the guy running it seems pretty switched on
  13. somewhat related question, does the size of the blow-by hose matter? I've noticed most catch cans have a fitting about half the size of the stock fittings? Can it suffocate the engine or anything with small hoses/fittings?
  14. hacksaw then cleaned it up with a stanley knife
  15. havecut the fan, it's just a generic kit someone should sticky that guide
  16. oh yeah, the question. Gas anyone ran piping like this? Or had trouble fitting the pipe? I tried 3 different pipes and they all had the same issue
  17. has anyone fitted this easily? First time i installed one i had to chop the pipe coming off of it going into my intercooler, this time it was worse. So i tried it a little differently, i have the pipe that goes over the radiator coming out of the turbo and then through the intercooler, then up and into the plenum
  18. helped a mate install one of these, chopped out the plastic the numberplate sits on and mounted the number plate of to the side, took our time cleaning up the plastic where it was cut and it all looks awesome
  19. went to ang, really easy going
  20. just replace the both of them, they're pretty cheap and most auto places have a few different ones to choose from
  21. so expensive? but looks so good
  22. upgrade your "big 3" (the battery ground, positive and engine to chassis cables) should help your charge rate a bit. use 2 gauge cable
  23. do you need to get covers for the wires connecting to the fuel pump? No one has mentioned it and my old 31 had exposed wiring, i just don't know if it's safe seeing as it's in fuel? That said it shouldn't spark if all connected properly anyway?
