I agree, the engine builder made a special point of the ring seal, I had an extensive rebuild to sort it out.

From memory I think is was the 0.9 that was in the original build unless he changed it. I think there was a lot of other factors for the improvement, 5 pounds less boost now runs 20 psi for 355 rwkw, shimed oil pump, standard cams back in that lowered the RPM, better built engine with a much better ring seal and tolerances and a few other little tricks. Just a much better package. Never had a problem since, not even a drop of oil in the catch can.

I used to run an external drain and an N1 pump that shattered on my GTR, with two built engines when pushed it would soak the fillter on my catch can with oil. My new engine builder Simon Gishus from Nizpro, during the rebuild he refused to reinstall the external oil drain for his own personal reasons. I now run a Tomei oil pump with a calerbrated oil flow with no external oil drain and for the last two and a half years not a single drop of oil can be seen anymore comming from the catch can, I have had no problems at all with this setup.

Ok i'll admit it, I'm a boiler maker/welder lol....Still haven't met one who drives a GTR, feel like I'm one out in a crowd when I pull up on site.

Maybe, but what's Nissan get out of this? They need to sell cars. The article states "Nissan were last in the (series) in 1992" and that was with a six cylinder GTR, it would make much more sence rating wise to put in a competitively tuned six cylinder GTR rather than something nobody knows, besides it wouldn't be in the correct production car format. Fingers crossed.

I'm thinking they are just going to take the V8 out of Supercar and just call it Supercar, maybe it will be a GTR? soon find out.

Update! Was sent the new production run 3rd gear from PPG and picked the car up today with the box rebuilt. No more jumping out of 3rd gear! problem solved.

If you type in "Motec M800" on the search function you should find pix on page 3 of the deletes and motec set up. I had this set up sold but got suffed around with payment and ended up with the motec and deletes only so I took it off the market and have hung on to it since. No not the cast type

As for the Motec M800, I can supply any type of plug in looms, accessories and support that you might need though my tuner as most people like to customize their own setup to suit their needs. (he's very good at this) I'll also throw in the AFM detetes with the sale of the Motec.

I'm hearing you brother but publicity is whats got us into this shit, the media wont allow any positive publicity now and never really have, the general public want modified cars banned and are only interested in negative stories as they provide the best ratings. The import scene needs to fade away from peoples minds and get out of the media. Sadly the f**kwits out there wont let this happen and will always get first pick, we are just to much of a regulated society now. Good luck anyway.

Well I knew it had to happen, not long ago I got breath tested at a booze bus and had two other cops standing behind the car checking it out, two week later as a result I recieved an EPA notice in the mail for having a loud exhaust. so I added a muffler. This Friday I went through a booze bus and was told to park the car so they could take a look over it, I was asked what mods have I done to the car (which has been many, dumb I know but as a new owner I really didn't know at the time that the mods where illegal and the workshop didn't inform me as such) instead I went through a long list of what I've done in resent times to demodifiy the car, I have now owned it for 6 years, I only got pinged for that frigging muffler that I added for it being to low, he also got me for the tinted windows, I was told that if I got the two side windows "only" retinted to a legal shade that I should be ok but I'm not to sure about that one. Now with a yellow canary in hand and a visit to the RTA pending, can I expect a more thorough inspection of the car other than what was written on his report, exhaust and windows?

Munched an N1 pump after 6000Ks, f**k it, I put in a Tomei pump just for peace of mind.
