the vroooom psssshhhhh gave it away.
nice GTR by the way.
also spotted - navy dark blue 34 st pauls tce next to the ekka - just saw the sau sticker as you waved - plates were ***277 about an hour ago
ahh fair enough, there was a gunmetal grey 32 gtr which was always parked down the road from my parents place and i think the plates are 26gtr or 27gtr, there was always an evo there, a wrx, turbo mx5, and a 180 that was always down there.
if the pads are old / worn they may squeal.. likewise if they are brand new they may need time to wear in.. (from memory my bendix pads always made noise - i just assumed it was from all the brake dust) I just used brake cleaner from time to time, it wouldn't stop the squealing but didnt squeal all the time)
rotors may need machining too.
quick / noob question
i got that crappy purple colour tint on the rear window which is peeling. looks horrible. Does it make a difference removing the tint with the de-mister / heater wires (not sure what you'd call it) that are on the rear window?
very keen on tints
ahh, thats why it wont shutup.. I can mute the beeping once the car is on (i.e when it hits the warning level) soon as i turn it off / on again, the beeping starts..
to the OP : in my opinion, if your keeping the car fairly stock then i'd just use a boost gauge / tpiece boost controller. if your planning to do mild - heavy mods - electronic boost controller makes more sense.
i went with an autogauge one from just jap.. $85 bucks, so long as you dont mind the ear piercing 3 second beep when you start the car
similar to this, but in psi. Allows to recall your peak boost and set warning signal if boost spikes..
Also i think from memory it can be daisy chained with other autogauges (oil press / temp etc)
