  11. Cheers for the info Munky Yep they didnt come with a connector piece. This is how its wired at the moment.. Sorry for the shit pics but i dont really know what im looking at.. i can see 1 brown rectangular connector and then just another wire going into it.. (i just cant work out how it then is flashing normally?)
  12. to cut a long story short.. i've ended up with r33 gtr front bar indicators for free after an ebay seller advertised them for an r33 gtst... probably should have done a bit more research but shit happens my car currently has a hacked up r33 gtr front bar from the previous owner and by the look of it has, hacked up the wiring to be compatible with the lights in the front bar.. whoever did it has done a bit of dodgy electrical tape around them but they work.. so basically.. i bought them to put into my 400r front bar (the round indicators are a perfect fit) my question is.. can these be wired to work in my car? I was told it cant be done but then i was thinking, how are the standard gtr lights currently in the front bar able work? if it helps these are what are in the front bar at the moment and these are what i want to put in

  15. id say an oil cooler would be essential for track days... there is another thread going about oil coolers / thermostats etc..... Ive never tracked my 33 (i have an oil cooler and relocated oil filter) i barely see temps above 70 degrees.. even after long drives in 30 degree heat with 80% + humidity... an oil cooler is pretty simple to put in - maybe consider it next time you do any oil change..

If u run 10psi and it miss fires there are other problems I.e spark plugs, coil packs etc. tbh 3psi increase with a fairly stock setup isn't going to give you the "holy shit the car is soo fast". Yeah sure it feels a little quicker but why risk damage for the sake of like 10kw. As others have said, after market ecu. If u don't want huge power go nistune. You'll need a few other parts to make it compatible but with a tune you'll net some decent gains. Just make sure you bring it to someone who knows how to tune it.
  17. iirc H is for the series 1.5 skyline.. M is for series 2 r33... probably interchangeable with other nissans..

  20. lol op says "R33 gtrs are ugly" but then says r33gtst look good.. wtf? imo.. go a 32/33gtst... they are cheap... most will be slightly f**ked in some way... (they are old cars)... you can play the waiting game and hope that you find something decent (the other option is import one) iirc 20K budget? r33gtst $6000....depending on how bad it is.. drop a few grand on it, major service/alarm/immobiliser etc.. so by the time you get it on the road and back to a decent mechanical running order you would be up to about the 10 grand mark.. 10 grand on mods over a few years..

  25. ^^^^ added to my list of stuff to buy... i still get normal oil pressure, no excess burning of oil... so pretty much my set up is cooling the oil far too much... or is it that im not running thin enough oil?
