cheers for the info... could it be that the temp sensor might be in the wrong place? mine is on the relocated oil filter bracket.. should it be closer to the block? i.e the sandwich plate which connects to the block?

nope but i was just reading how people have oil temps up around 100 degrees and i was like WTF?

mine sits around 60 deg. celcius... hotest ive seen it was 70 just the other day.. it was nearly 35deg with nearly 100% humidity in brisbane... running turbolight 4100 also..

my old man replaced the battery in his laptop.. doesnt appear to be a genuine HP battery.. so anyway he put it in - said it was already on about 20% so he drained the battery... then chucked it on the charger.. it just sits there saying charging 0%... he left it for a few hours - came back, its still 0%.. he has been using the laptop now for about 2 hours (without ac power cord plugged in) still says its at 0%... so i guess my noob question is how to tell how much battery is left?
