    Actually bro I do remember a white crappy pajero with a trailer that came flying down sunrise st last night around 11 or so. Just remembered it was out if the ordinary , made a lot of noise and didn't brake for the traffic island.

    rust isnt normal no.. i had a bit of rust on the inside of my drivers door.. gave it a light sand with fine grit sandpaper.. soaked it in rust convertor.. then primed it.. and finished in glossy white.. Keep in mind my rust was in a place that you cannot see from the outside, i'd get some advice on it from a professional..

    i dropped mine and broke broke the afm... so yes - it can kill it..

    pretty sure the series 1 does.. im not 100% though..

    the afm element is pretty fragile.. possibly broken whilst taking off old piping?
