15k? check carsales these days.. 10k mark will get you into a s2 r33 with probably more mods then what you've listed.. if your budget is 15k and worried about the condition of aussie r33's, use the 5k to fix the car / personalise it yourself.. At least then you have the opportunity to see the car, drive it, if something does break (inevitably something will) at least you have the choice of mechanics and the peace of mind that you have fixed the car.

keep the stock airbox if you have it, just chuck in a panel filter.. my advice, dont bother getting a pod unless you've got a decent enclosure for it..

nice build! who cares if he won lottery, or if his parents are rich or where he got the money from. Better than another "skyline build" with a 25/30 with huge turbos and 8 hundred 6 thousand and 45 billionty hp.

probably best not to flog the car around then, buy a boost gauge, $100 bucks will get you something decent. Could save you blowing a turbo / damaging the engine which in that case will far exceed $100.

when your boost exceeds what you want it to be... i.e 10psi on manual boost controller - boost gauge hits 20 psi.. thats an epic spike

manual boost T's can be prone to spiking.. cheap alternative to an EBC, they are piss easy to install - i've found stockish turbo cars work fine with manual T pieces so long as your not running like a billion psi. EBC's are convenient as most these days you can preset multiple boost settings. Also you dont have to pop the bonnet / get outta the car each time to adjust boost. Obviously more expensive than a manual T piece and installation is more in depth. about the spooling earlier part - dont think an ebc will make your turbo spool quicker, would have though that is more to do with the tune / turbo

worst for me, f**king scum cab driver cut me off in the valley - almost ended up parking the car into the front room of the press club because of this flamin mongrel.. Anyway, i've pulled up beside him - given the finger and a few choice words... Cab pulls up in frront of me at the lights (next to birdies) gets outta his cab - motions for me to get out to fight in front of about 20 people waiting at the lights.. this flamin mongrel then spits in my face, i get out of my car and piffed my whole apple at the flamin mongrel - missed him but smashed the back of the cab.. i get back into the car, lights had been green for about a minute - all this traffic had piled up behind me and the cab - i take off - cab follows dangerously close - stop at the lights again in the city - cabbie is yelling some foreign shit at me - picked up my other apple i had on the front seat - put the passenger window down, just as we take off im just about to launch this apple right at the flamin mongrels face - but then my common sense kicked in and i thought "knowing my luck ill hit him, he'll crash and kill himself or someone else" that was 3 years ago now, and it still f**king boils my blood... complained to yellow cabs, they couldn't do anything - they wanted me to go get video footage to prove it.. in a nutshell, i f**king hate cab drivers, your all f**king flamin mongrels
