OH one more stupid question... How does a manual boost controller work? iv twisted the top the way it says to twist to turn it down but when i tested it its still hitting 13. i think i may have to turn the nut that's under the top too?? sorry... i work in a computer store and get these kind of stupid questions from customers all the time and i know how annoying simple stuff like this is.

i'm looking at replacing the shitty pioneer cd player that's in my r32 atm i pulled it out the other day just to have a look behind it and it looks like who ever installed it didnt bother to keep it neat or cut the speaker wire that would have came with the cd player short to fit nicely. wires connected with 1 metre long (uncut) cables that only needed to reach 2cm lol all rolled up into a big spider web looking ball and shouved behined the head unit. any way i want to redo it all inlcuding the speaker wires that to the speakers (front and rear left speakers arnt working). just wanted to know if its hard or something i should know before taking every panel i see off to do so

After reading what people on here say about the 20 yeah i'm starting to agree. has anyone ever had a 20 rebuilt ? if so what did it cost and how long did it take ?

im really new to the turbo import scene sorry... im not exactly sure what it is but when i accelerate foot flat from 1800rpm to 4500rpm boost hits and stays at 13 but then after 4500 it creeps down to about 8. my boost controller is a manual twist top type. should i maybe adjust it down ? its only a stock turbo with stock cooler.

stupid me sorry lol its running the stock cooler and a manual boost controller. so your saying that the rubber hose could be sucking itself closed? well not closed but smaller. hmm thanks heaps for that il check that all the pipes are tight.

Hey guys unfortunately I'm finding out more and more wrong with this R32 that i bought last week lol i was really stupid to not try and find someone that knows what there looking for (bad things) in a car before i bought it. but yeah im curious weather i should stick the the RB20 (146.000K) and fix the leak the turbo has. or totally convert it to the Rb25 because i only want to make the power that the 25 has out of my 20. so.. i dont know?? could any one help ? is is worth the money fixing the 20 rather than replacing it? i dont really even know if the turbo is leaking all im getting that from is from when my foot is flat from 2000rpm to 4000 boost hits what its suposed to wich is 12 or 13 on the guage but after 4000 it drops down slowly to 10 and then 8. ?? is that a leak?

stock height with shitty body kit so the distance between the tire and wheel arch (guard) is at leased 5 to 6 inches lol, those old black spoke with electric red rim wheels, shopping list of audio brands on the back window. all that with the maccas toy hanging off the back.

It sounds to me like excessive backlash in the diff and the jumping of wheels is usually attributed to soft or worn out shockies. Iv got a bad clunk noise in the rear it happens when accelerating and backing off . also went for a slide last night to see how it went seeing iv only just bought the car and when giving it a bit in a straight line getting the wheels to spin they jumped up and down and the hole rear end of the car felt so loose and made scary noises lol. i don't hang around my old car friends anymore so i don't know where i should go with out knowing that there going to rip me off. so if anyone could recomend someone that deals with imports and this sort of rear end problem id love you for you to let me know please!!!
