    $700-900 for 2nd hand? massive rip off i have a complete unit here you can have for $150. no idea if/what is wrong with it. but it might be a hell of a lot cheaper to pull bits off than 2k for a 'new' one

    if you dont hate the car, the transmission wouldnt be a massive job to change, nor that expensive. id get a quote elsewhere as some places will quote that much in the hopes youll say no or go elsewhere. i rekon a replacement trans would be a hell of a lot cheaper injectors and shocks arent massive jobs and the CV boot might take an hour. if you got the car cheap enough...........

    i replaced radiator and brakes. the rest was done because i wanted to mod it. get an M35, the series 2 NA models would be my pick, but you pay a little more for them. that said, i never once disliked mine, always loved driving it!

    well, a choke is something different to a cold start map. a choke is something physical and not present on an EFI setup. of course advancing the timing 'all the way' is bad. did you not detect my sarcasm after the previous comment? no link posted to the auction? damn! how do i find things in ebay? ohh i search!

    yes, because nissan have been using chokes in their fuel injected cars since 1975. advancing the timing 'all the way' is the only way to do it properly. moron. back to reality, im with leon, its a rebadged jaycar kit and not a bad piece of kit, assuming you know what to do with it.

    i have a VGC 2nd hand unit. master cylinder and booster.

    sure the springs will fit, but they will be the wrong spring rate for an M35 unless the Z33/V35 is AWD, the coilovers will NOT fit. the front suspension setup is different to accomodate the AWD drivetrain.

    Do you have the V1 or BR coilovers? im guessing the V1s as the BR on most firm setting will probably break your back and crack the chassis lol

    actually its probably not safe to drive the car without the pump in the car. the AWD system relies on the fluid being there to continue to lubricate it i only know of 1 other car that needed a full pump change, and he bought my spare pump assembly

    Id use green coolant not red. the nulon synthetic trans fluid can be pretty much used everywhere. however, whatever you do ONLY put matic J or S in the transmission, or compatible fluids. if you put in matic D, it will cost you a transmission. id use differential fluid in the diffs, if you have an LSD in the rear, use an LSD compatible fluid

    have you guys actually tried bleeding the attesa system? mine was playing up in the same way for ages. i flushed the system (well, i had help) and then didnt have a problem!

    stay in the boot to keep topping the bottle up. if you get it go dry, you need to start over

    it needs a hoist and 3 people. one small enough to remain in the boot
