  1. why didnt you PM him petro? not good taking this public mate......... craig, youve re-assembled the car and taken it home? i hope the wife is happy! can we hang onto your old loom for the spare motor please? its a shame this whole problem was so simple
  2. unless youre going to the track and doing a lot of steering, then there is no point running a cooler on the power steering. it needs to be at a particular temperature for it to operate efficiently. if you make it too cool (like a transmission or engine) then you may affect its performance.
  3. hmmm imagine having water temp, oil temp, oil pressure and transmission temp all on the same screen i think the HKS CAMP2 will do that.
  4. how many temp sensor inputs are there? maybe you can do both!
  5. you dont NEED them to run the device, but if you want those two thing monitored then youll need the sensors too. the rest of the stuff is taken from teh ECU. to have exact water temp there all the time, IMO its well worth its money. dont want to overheat in these summer temps. there are only limited spare VQ25DETs
  6. hop under the car, sounds like something has come. or the auto ECU has died/come unplugged. its located in the passenger footwell on the left.
  7. i think your car being a C34 IS the problem, chuckie im glad this problem isnt affecting m35s, im pretty sure ive parked on some very steep slopes facing up and downhill and the car started fine might be due to the shape of the fuel tank? rekon an m35 fuel tank would fit in a c34? i have a spare
  8. Happy New Year guys. Welcome to 1/1/11
  9. i think i need to bleed my cooling system, hitting over 100 degrees when the ambient temp is over 30 i agree, chuckie take your own advice; stop posting useless crap in this thread.
  10. smoking in it!!! if i smoked i wouldnt even smoke in an excel, and i hate excels. the smell of smoke in a car is feral........
  11. ahh sorry dude i misread your post
  12. it depends on the kit, but there were factory and aftermarket options to fold in the mirrors when you lock the car it is NOT on all stageas
  13. i wish i stayed! but i would have been in big trouble for missing dinner lol
  14. im pretty sure it did due to the larger diameter bar. you can get whiteline or superpro swaybar bushes for almost any car. if yours are stuffed, just get some new nolathane ones it will make it ride nicely
  15. the BCM is spoken for, the tailgate glass is available
  16. i wish the wiring wasnt missing from my car. i might just get rid of all the boxes etc. these cars weigh enough without unnecessary items in there too
  17. Series 1 V35 non-brembo brakes are 100% the same as the series 1 NM35. as for the PM35 and PNM35 im not sure.
  18. some cars can be brought in as personal imports and arent subject to RAWS or something like that. but you have to have owned the car in another country for at least 12 months blah blah anyway, you may need to remove the airbox on the passenger side, and the radiator overflow bottle on the drivers side to get your hands in there. they also arent bulbs, they are burners
  19. did you crack open another beer? i hope you left me one there! was great when you rang me to tell me the news, i was almost pissed off when you said there was no good news lol
  20. they are removed because there are no automatic height adjustments, and no washers for the headlight units. anyway, if the ballasts have been removed, youll need to buy new ballasts and burners. if the factory ballasts and wiring is still there, you can just put in new burners. you need to have a look at them to see what has and hasnt been removed
  21. aaron she still hasnt called me. can you let her know im expecting her call still? also, mine does that when i hammer it. maybe its because of the fuel moving around so much it takes the lowest average reading, when youre driving normally, the fuel doesnt move as much and thus you get a higher reading
  22. i got new bushes with the new sway bars, so i wont bother with them. but thanks for the info! ill grease them up too, probably dry
  23. hahah i went in andys car today, i hate how slow mine is!! i also need an exhaust rumble........ soon soon
  24. thanks for the link, its effing awesome!!
  25. if youre happy with that ride then youre right, there is no reason for adjustable. except for the cost anyway, i should check my swaybar links as the rear of my stagea wobbles like a whale over bumps too.
