Spotted a white M35 turning off Buffalo Road in Ryde this afternoon, i tried to catch up but some stupid P plater cut me off. I think you live in the street I used to live in
yeah i guess so, this morning it never went over 95, had the AC on all the way to the city in crawling traffic. i guess the thermo helped!
anyway, i got a blitz radiator cap to keep the pressure in there so it blows something else
i have a nismo thermostat dude!
my temps didnt change from when andy tested the informeter on my car months ago. so i rekon the fan clutch could be screwed. can i buy your spare??
an AFM error will clear itself after about a week and 20-30 successfull starts. mine just cleared itself when i turned on the ignition with the AFM disconnected. now its fine again.
my water hit 97 in the city the other night! i think i might need a new clutch on the viscous fan. mine could be worn out as i have a nismo thermostat.
have not done PS yet
search for the ecu reset for M35 and V35. its the same procedure. hard to get at first, but pretty easy to do
do you have any errors or just wanting a reset?
haha i didnt have my trolley jack so i couldnt get one end of the car in the air, only one corner. the sway bar prevented the strut from dropping far enough for me to remove the old one and replace with new one
also didnt have a socket large enough to remove the bolts that hold the brake caliper bracked onto the knuckle
i now have my trolley jack back, and ill be buying more sockets! just need to find a day to do all this crap!
whats a cat??
i know the sensor he was talking about. it existed on early 90s jap imports and it was a temp sensor for the cat. maybe if he actually looked at an M35 he would know. most people just throw imports in the same boat, mostly along with C34s hahah
my BOV is fine thanks mate
actually it not lol
i had a failed suspension install attempt last week so i wont be making it to this weeks thursday meet. when the suspension is done, ill come along!
mine does it too, i also turn ignition off and back on again to clear the problem.
yes the 4WD light being on means there IS a problem. the green (orange on ours) 'sync' light is normal during snow and sync modes.
now if only i could get rid of the check engine light on mine lol
its probably a wire for the factory security system. i have mine still on the car. i really should remove it!
did you get a key fob with a remote start function on it?
