  3. damn it! why didnt i think of that??
  4. i finally finished the jobs list from the mrs took me 4 years there is a new list being drawn up however ..............
  5. hey scott, wheres mine??
  6. the piping youre thinking of will probably have a higher melting point, being that you put hot liquids down the drain at home that said, its gonna get hotter under a bonnet than most PVC piping will handle.
  7. whoa VDC incorporates active stability also?? i thought it was only traction control. ok yes sway bars would affect that. do all V35s have VDC?
  8. yup i know the one. it only does the bent in the pipe, doesnt go the entire way down to the turbo inlet but i think it would certainly make a difference!!
  9. thats because there is only 1 dealer who holds the compliance for the 'series 2' VQ35DE models that would be Nortshore Prestige in Sydney. give them a call or check out their stock online. they will be happy to ship to anywhere
  10. dont laugh, i have one of those! but it has a battery to store the power
  11. thats probably because the rear sway bar affects understeer more than the front. how did sway bars affect the VDC?? they arent related!
  12. Yup the engines will bolt up to either transmissions. M35 came with a VQ35DE and AWD so youre really not doing anything that hasnt already been done
  13. it melts around 80 degrees and i believe its toxic when its melting. as mentioned, spend the money, you have a nice car! i hope youre not going to ask if retreads are ok to use
  14. Isnt the AXIS built on an ARX chassis? it has the side mould mounting points etc. just different suspension
  15. +10000 better
  16. huh? youre selling the RX to get an AXIS? Besides the body kit, there isnt much difference. performance wise, they are the same car!
  17. Glad it was an easy fix!! I was waiting to let Scott take over as he has done more to an M35 transmission than anyone here
  18. basic bolt on parts are easy to find, FMIC, exhaust, suspension etc. depending on what youre looking for, you may have difficulties!
  19. i think the LSD helps a lot! id love to buy one, but they appear to be as rare as nismo ECUs for M35 but yes if i dont prepare the car for a corner, it understeers, i havent had it very sideways before, except in the way
  20. correct, completely different as your lack of hydraulic system proves in your 'series 2' M35. I didnt know the R35 used a similar system, good to know, thanks!
  21. www.importmonster.com.au www.rhdjapan.com www.nengun.com www.greenline.com
  22. ah yes we dont want to put people off buying them
  23. Probably worthwhile for piece of mind even if its not related to this problem. a 2001 will have started 'getting old' the last few years. i know mine needs some bushes done too!
  24. There are more and more mods for the VQ25DET M35 every day. we are working through things. trying things, and using japanese parts. yes the VQ35DE has more parts available because that motor has come in every mid and large size nissan for a while now. the VQ25DET only came in the M35 stagea, so we are a little behind on the mods. that said, if you want big numbers, youre going to have to spend the money anyway, so it doesnt matter what engine is in it
  25. i think you meant 'chronic understeer' mate
