  1. probably for the sounds. she will talk to you when stuff goes wrong plus its fun to have
  2. isnt there an iphone app that does this?? it uses a combination of the g-force sensor inside and GPS to work out pretty accurately
  3. i might make an ISO of one and make a torrent. i can seed it at work over the xmas break..............
  4. spotted jetwreck last night up in pennant hills area around 11pm
  5. - steering wheel - V35 rims - front and rear aero bar, but not sideskirts, the black bits are painted - the grill is just an aftermarket job, the axis one is massive and doesnt fit in a 'standard' front bar. - nismo exhaust - the usual RX goodies like 6 stacker integrated stereo and electric seats and rear seat aircon vents IMO its nothing special. and is it REALLY an anniversary edition??
  6. im pretty sure its a DVD, and its so large youll probably need a DL disc. that said, any disc can be copied easily!
  7. its probably easier to check/change the thermostat than stuff around with the water pump. which will probably whine if its a problem if your thermostat was stuck closed, it CAN spit out the overflow tank as the pressure build up forces the coolant out anywhere it can but before doing this, dump all the coolant out, and refill the system and bleed it properly! there will be a bleed point on one of the flanges. it could be you just have some air stuck in the system. turn on the heater (on full) and run it like that for a while too.
  8. one day ill do that too! one day when i drive my car more than once a month lol
  9. has anyone done one of those?? and did the vortex help?
  10. lol thanks dude but i can file the one i have spacer?? does it go between it and the plenum?
  11. yeah i hope so too mate!! migth be cheaper to just buy an entire PM35 and swap the bits over
  12. i dunno, check ebay, there are bored out ones. but youre right, there isnt much left in them! i was surprised ours was the same size as the NA models
  13. i know where there is a PM35 we can get the parts from cam
  14. it looks good tho, but boring at the same time...........
  15. im planning something else at the moment with the TB
  16. is it a stock TB or is it bored out/larger? if you can post up a part number once you get it please
  17. i think you mean 'standby' mate and you should do a test install on my car. its stock and would be good. yes, yes thats what you should do
  18. nice one dude! thanks for the pics and glad the TB worked one day your old one will be removed from the box it arrived in, for my little project. anyway, im interested, and my car is pretty much stock, so it will be a good comparison, if only i had enough cash to do a before and after dyno run
  19. i get the clunk you speak about after coming out of reverse................ i thought it was just mine
  20. nah i understand that, sorry i didnt mean to attack what you said!! and there is everyones interpretation of everything in the world! lol
  21. who cares if a photo is 'right' or not. if youre happy with it, thats what matters. and even if a pics is over/under exposed, it might still be a good pic after some processing!
  22. why dont you get some V35 seats that are trimmed in suade or fabric? might be cheaper, i have seen whole sets on IM. V35 coupe seats have a latch to fold the seat forward, so beware which ones you get!
  23. nah thats not HDR, it possibly an HDR effect or filter done with PP not that its a bad photo, its quite good actually!!
  24. ok the boost gauge should be hooked up somewhere after the throttle body. assuming it measures vacuum also, but its the best spot as this is the boost the engine is 'seeing' if its hooked up somwhere near the boost solenoid, thats the wrong spot. for the manual boost 'controller' depending on what type it is, series or parrallel, youll need to get an installation diagram to make sure you have it all in but to make sure thats not the problem, put the factory one back in and make sure there is no surging.
  25. nothing wrong with an NA S13. i had one back in the day! its a good base to start learning, and you dont need a crap load of power to drive a car. anyway, is it a CA18 or SR20? if you need any help, tips, hints blah blah go check out www.silviansw.com there are some great and knowledgable guys there
