  1. no oil will require a timing chain change assuming your engine is looked after - and properly lubricated - it should never need replacing!
  2. something was wrong with your SR20 if it needed doing........... and they only need to be replaced if they break, which you hope they dont
  3. saw a white M35 stagea this morning at 9am on wakehurt parkway waiting to turn onto warringah road. i think a chick driving
  4. pixies that ride on the chain driven cams
  5. timing belt?? kidding!! and if the mechanic tells you either the timing belt or chain needs to be replaced. just drive out and go somewhere else.
  6. im not sure if that was sarcasm, but yes there are S2 M35s! they are a PM35 whereas our current M35s are an NM35, but the N means 4WD. no VQ25DET was available as it wouldnt pass emissions. Right now there are people attempting compliance for them. And yes, they are different, slightly, like the subtle differences between an S1 and S2 C34
  7. it will open if it cant suck enough (any?) air through the pod but for that to happen, you probably just crashed anyway and youre in someones backyard in their pool. but the rivers are nice this time of year
  8. yes the foglight switch IS on the stalk. that turns them on. the bottom switch switches between the top and bottom ones, as already explained by A31-RB20. and luggage fan switch?? that sounds like fun lol no really where is the fan??
  9. wouldnt the premium have the bar and plate??
  10. that IS a S1, S2s didnt come in turbo. i think you mean compared to a C34 and i think its an 80mm core
  11. lol do you go snorkling much??
  12. wow danny that looks really nice!! and i like the narrower A/C fan in there too........ great space saving idea oh so tempting for me now lol
  13. i would also! back to PS3 install in the car i think....... is the screen resolution differerent in the US version???
  14. i think if youre driving through deep water with enough RPM to suck water into the engine, then you dont deserve to own a car.
  15. im not sure i can do the 10th, i have to shoot a party that evening/night.........
  16. ok so i just won the M35 service manuals, yes they are in japanese, but a picture says a thousand words should go nicely with my wiring diagram book i have for M35 hehe
  17. the navi might be easier to find a disc for. we get enough US products (because they are english based) that something might be close enough to work..............
  18. very nice dude!! what strobes were you using? she looks kinda familiar.......
  19. hmm if its that easy, then it migh be an option for us all that want english 'conversions' now; navigation???
  20. that is friggen awesome!! very VERY nice work!!! are you going to put up an FYI on how to do this? or perhaps sell your services to perform these conversions??
  21. WHAT?!?!?!?! youre kidding right?? ok thats a rip off. id rather buy new wheels
  22. let us know how it goes Craig. for $350 inc rotors i might just do that instead of caliper upgrade so i dont have to buy new rims
  23. its because its a copgy-back and they are never as good as a full remap. i THINK with a ksrom, gzone blah blah + emanage or a decent copgy back will be the best IMO.
  24. in answer to your question, i use a nulon engine oil flush, i think its called 'engine oil flush' and its in a small black bottle. there are other brands (wynns i think) that do the same thing and would have similar names its easy, park the car where youre gonna change the oil, pour it into the oil filler, idle the engine for 10-15 mins, and then drop the oil out. just make sure its all really out as it thins the oil right out. and to NOT drive the car, for any reason, and dont rev it above idle. im sure you already know to change the oil when its still warm........
