  1. i thought so, therefore no adjustments required! run an oil flush through it on next change, i bet it will quiet down if its lifter related
  2. dont RB engines have hydraulic lifters?? if they do, one is probably dry or has a build up of crap or varnish. have you run an oil flush through the engine before doing a change? also, is it possible your engine is now much quieter (due to the oil weight) and you can hear the injectors ticking?
  3. also depends on the area your car is parked in
  4. ive been thinking about this for a while....... for M35 anyway, centralise all the information. but i dont mean to take anyone from here, just keep all the information in one place for easy reference. i might still do it, dunno yet
  5. i think i might come up for this one! ill see how i got after dinner tho
  6. i wouldnt worry about it either. but if you DO start having problems, youll probably need to change them. but if andy had no problems with 5s in his, then youll be ok

  8. yeah cooler plug for forced induction engines, i was gonna wait 2 weeks for a set of 7s, but i couldnt be bothered. maybe ill use some coppers to see how they go. at $3-4 each, it will be a cheap test
  9. most of the sydney guys have seen this car and knows its in good condition!
  10. yeah ill be there too!
  11. chances are the rears will fit no problems. danny got rear Z33 (actually all round) brakes on perfectly!

  13. i actually quite like the V35 front on an M35. that V36 front on the M35 looks hot too!!
  14. someone check FAST, it will have the manifold configuration and whats in it. from looking at andys car (and we could see the manifolds) then there were NO cats in the manifold. its in the dump AFTER the turbo. could you imagine what a cat in the manifold would do to exhaust flow before the turbo??
  15. So i got the new job, i resign the old one tomorrow. if you want, i can look at this car within the next 2 weeks! (except next monday)
  16. FYI, thats only a rear muffler, the mid (massive) muffler is a stocker. someone will buy it, however
  17. no worries mate, thought that id ask!
  18. only if its a brembo equipped Z33 one, id get that, would be a better chance of it being the same
  19. holy sheeeeeeet!! just get one 2nd hand a replace the rubbers in it!
  20. hahah thank link is more than i can read (and decipher) at work but i believe you then! R34 is probably cheaper too!
  21. yeah but an M35 is a different chassis. id be chasing a V35 brembo equipped one if you can find one......
  22. so file two opposite sides of the nut to make them flat, then use a shifting spanner on them! easy! also, all you need is leverage to undo tight bolts, buy a breaker bar, then put your trolley jack handle on the end of it if its not long enough. you dont need to get the car all that high up.
  23. do you have the sub amp etc as well??
  24. before you remove the old one, make sure of the outlets!!! lol
  25. LFR6AP-9 is the stock one, PFLR6A-11 is the 'aussie' equivalent available here, either regap to 0.9mm, or run 1.1mm like i did
