  1. thanks nick!! whered you get the brochure? i should scan and post up the nismo option and nissan aero option ones i got from IM..........
  2. and someones commissioned a job to convert this to english http://www.odesk.com/jobs/Convert-Japanese...t=119&pos=7
  3. ok so i was bored at work (normal day) and googled some stuff. there is a company in japan that does translations for GPS. http://www.leasejapan.com/gps_navi.asp yes i know these are maps of japan, but they are in english, on a xanavi unit with birdview....... it might be nothing but who knows.........
  4. So i want to get an LSD diff for the rear. anyone know what the ratio is for them? im hoping (like the V35 guys http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Au...f-t279164.html) that there might be something else interchangable. if i start increasing power, i want to be able to put it to the ground properly..........
  5. that wont work. the spring tension itself without the vacuum line behind it isnt enough to keep it shut all the time. it will open with the boost pressure and also with the sudden pressure increase when the throttle closes
  6. there is a VERY cheap way to do this. find the BOV return pipe where it goes back into the intake. remove pipe. insert a coke bottle lid (i found pepsi and fanta were better for performance) and put a clamp over it so it doesnt move. replace pipe. flutter will now occur. if a coke bottle lid isnt big enough, just put something in there that wont leak or move. but remember to clamp it! you dont want it being sucked into the engine.
  7. nope, its air bouncing back from the throttle and going back out the turbo. its essentially air changing direction! the other flutter you hear on WRC cars are a pop off valve (i think) not to be confused with a blow off valve. i think they go after the throttle body not before it like a BOV does
  8. go watch some of the edward lees videos. the old man (edward) has no idea about cars, it makes me wonder how he sold cars! he was driving mine (thats where it came from) and i was explaining things to him! according to him (and he says it on the video) they have a VQ35 motor, and dual zone climate control! wow i had no idea hahah not to mention tv and sat nav!
  9. ohh thats no BOV at all. good way to ruin your new turbo lol
  10. nice blitz filter, looks exactly like mine lol whats interesting about it?? i ask because i cant have volume on my machine, people will hear
  11. sorry danny, no prize for not being funny
  12. its the death switch if youre not sunroof equipped
  13. yeah ghey unless its manual. unless you get a plumb back one? limits your options however!
  14. just remember to crimp the wires not solder them. solder adds resistance and we want to remove that remember
  15. well, no one really knows. we have had people say yes 1bar from factory, some people say 10-12psi lol who knows. take it off the car and see how tight the spring in it is....
  16. ohh right behind me? hahah no, but if she was i would have inserted the word 'f**k' in there a few times so she would stop reading over my shoulder
  17. she isnt often in my car, but on her car she gets at the very least, decent branded tyres. she has had near misses in her old cars in the wet because of cheap tyres..........
  18. unless the stock one is leaking, or wont handle any additional pressure, leave it. if its working why change it?
  19. do they use oxygen free wire and gold plated terminals readily available from jaycar
  20. id have to disagree with that. yes our cars weight a lot, but with many people upgrading suspension, the car is relying more and on the tyres, especially when braking. under acceleration yeah its hard to spin or get sideways all that much, but when youre braking, your car only stops as well as the tyres you put on it. especially in the wet!!! i dont even have kids or take many people in my car, but tyres and brakes are an area i NEVER skimp on money. people are happy to spend thousands on motors to get more power. but they forget how they are gonna stop ............
  21. those kits ground everything in the engine bay, but i think its overkill. i think if you ground the block again, maybe towards the back where the gearbox bolts on, and the manifold and head. going to every small component is silly! just make sure you rough up the contacts so they make a good connection. remove paint where necessary too!
  22. and then work it out across all the cars they manufacture and then across all car makers... thats a massive saving sorry im just saying that its probably worth doing to any car, and cost cutting was my reason for doing so PS you win nothing. you will owe me a prize!
  23. its probably worth doing to any car. grounding is always shit on cars. manufacturers make cars as cheaply as possible to keep costs down and profits higher. if it means saving 5c on the whole wiring of a car, work that out across 100,000 cars......
