yes they are the fog lights that ALL V35 and M35s come with that are located in the main headlight unit. i think its the other filament of an H4 globe that the highbeam uses... maclaren, you have driving lights (like myself) in the front bumper hence the I/II switch next to the height adjustment to select between the 'factory' fogs and the lower 'driving' lights.
