  1. i rekon the price is quite reasonable for what you get!! however, having to remove the parts and have them modified will be the bitch i rekon
  2. id be interested, im happy to do the work myself assuming i dont have to remove the engine/gearbox from the car before the turbo can come out
  3. thats not bad for a CAS price new from nissan! im surprised, but then again the VQ is a current series motor and im guessing they all use the same part..... as for the fuel filter, is this a servicable item? ie does it need changing or is it a 'sock' or strainer type of thing??? or is it an actual filter with an element in it?
  4. ive driven that ARX at edward lees, dont bother. but if you do, beware of the thump when the auto gears back when youre slowing down
  5. hahah thanks mate! and yeah, ARX rims are hard to find. Andy was kind enough to hang onto his till i had the cash! thats the only way i got them however, my RX rims have virtually new rubber!
  6. so his one has a fuel filter?? where is it? i cant find one! i rekon do the plugs also while youre tinkling, you need to take off the throttle body to do the plugs, so give it a good clean. its possible one of the vacuum lines that go around the TB is blocked. hit it with some cleaner and see how that goes.
  7. i wish people would stop rubbing all their good mods in our faces!!! haha id be sticking with a well known brand name, probably something ex-japan for our cars. you know they have been designed and tested on them properly. not like some australian companies that use re-set springs that break after a few thousand ks. thats what id do anyway. but im happy if anyone wanted to lose their brand name springs/shocks and id be happy to part with my stockers for free
  8. maybe there is less metal in the unit, maybe they make space for more filter material, which id prefer over a 'cooler' filter hot is hot when youre taking it off anyway hahah which reminds me, time for me to do an oil change. thanks for letting us know it takes 5L! i was going to ask that question +1 on using an engine oil flush before a change. ive always used the nulon variety on all my cars, never had a problem.....
  9. Id be happy to go with some stagea peeps.
