yeah private prices are a little lower than dealers. ive seen some other M35s for similar prices to yours. one was lower, but from the pics you could tell the front had been resprayed. i take it your in NSW/sydney? youll have to come to a meet up one thursday night and show us all! im sure a workshop could easily do the wiring. but youll need to find the lights to go in there first!

they are probably rare as hens teeth, and there is additional wiring and a extra switch and a relay next to the airbox (i have the driving lights ) so it might be a pain in the ass to wire up. anyway, if the car runs well and you think its worth the money go for it! damn they look so much better with the black interior!

i like the way this is heading. its a shame i just got my redundancy notice from my work yesterday so wont be doing it till i find another job.............

it STRENGTHENS the gearbox?? no shit. thats the sell to the mrs i think maybe the gearbox will suffer a 'problem' and need a 'service' at some stage in the future.........

spotted a white M35 ARX on ryde road this morning near the pittwater road intersection. was staring at it but didnt realise it was another stagea lol

ive found if my foot is on the floor, it will change when IT wants to, not when i hit the lever lol maybe ill let it get a little closer to redline that said, im still VERY interested in a shift kit. i dont think an ECU remap will affect gear changes much. as already stated, the speed of the shift is in the mechanics of the box itself. i still rekon its smooth to save the driveline additional stress. but we all know you can take driveline components well over the factory 'limits' hehe

my 4WD light comes on too sometimes. if i turn the car off and turn it back on again it goes away. cant make it happen for the dealer tho!! anyway, check the atessa fluid level in the back. AFAIK its on the RHS behind the rear wheel.

theres also a 3rd fuse box behind the battery under the cover near the aircon intake vent. might be one in there.

does the V35 share the same auto tranny as the Z33? maybe he was excited, i know i would be lol id also be VERY interested in this rekon its a DIY backyard job???

actually thats a good point, over the christmas break i was driving on homebush bay drive down to king georges road to hurstville several times a week, i was getting good economy, heaps of lights but mostly green and mostly me sitting just over the 80km/h posted limit. ill drive up the coast again and see what economy i get....

i have 50w 6000k HIDs in my M35 (had to retro fit due to compliance) and being 6000k they are very white, i agree they arent as 'bright' as 4300k. mark i rekon you got 6000k in the kit you just installed, but your factory ones i rekon are 4300k. just go on ebay and buy a new pair of burners (they arent globes - they dont have a filament) 35w 6000k and they will probably match. i think around $40 for some cheap ass china ones.

if theres nothing wrong, the engine check light will just disappear after several starts and a few kms. i was down the coast (near wollongong) got engine check light - started the car without AFM plugged in - but by the time i got back to sydney a few days later, it was gone.......... but you can clear the code with a consult too!

yeah i agree with using manual mode on the highway, i did the exact same thing on my coffs harbour trip the day after i got my car lol

nope thats the ARX model with the flares. RX model looks like an RS. trim is the only difference.

yeah but i bet your RS has leather seats. the fabric RS seats didnt have that option AFAIK. you have rear vents??? all the RSs i looked at didnt have them!! weird
