  2. yeah sorry i should have mentioned that engine mods? nah. gearbox mods? shift kit SHOULD do it. however i notice the US guys are using new TCs to stop overheating. However this is before they do shift kits. ECU is a necessity anyway, even if its to trim fuel on a stock setup
  3. because neither of you have had it working properly. am i incorrect? or do you have new information that ive missed?
  4. ok mate sounds good!!
  5. i think you should avoid GCG, not that they make bad turbos. But please do your research. mine and craigs were done at precision turbos in wetherill park. full BB garrett centre. i think good for 550hp
  6. in case no one has mentioned it, i think scotty still makes dump pipes for M35s
  7. im interested. Would this be a wiring mod or require any additional parts beyond a switch/wires?? With the shift kit in, there is less slippage therefore less heat created
  8. good luck getting it working
  9. hahah good call on that Craig!!
  10. or just go to www.northshoreprestige.com.au
  11. take a run up to mosman, check out the stock at Northshore Presige. nothing but good cars
  12. Where are you located? If in Sydney, beware of a few dealers. Im not going to mention names as Ill get into trouble. But I had a bad experience with a dealer on parramatta road, in concord. has a guys name in it. the surname is very short, only three letters.
  13. the good thing is he isnt at fault, so insurance will take care of everything. im just trying to assist with speedy repairs, and something else could potentially be removed from my garage
  14. there is a manual adjustment on the rear of the headlight unit its a white/yellow screw on the back of the motor. if the motor is broken, i MAY have a spare
  15. thats bad news, glad youre ok tho! what sort of damage has the car sustained? I have a rear tailgate, glass and the lower plastic bit thats attached to the tailgate, if your repairer needs it
  16. not that its a bad thing, i dont have the safety pack, and my car is still mostly fine. except when im driving it
  17. they are NOT airbags yes they will have SRS on them, and the safety pack has a centre seatbelt in the rear like all other ones, not a usual lap belt
  18. maybe it was pre-programmed? and how much did you pay for it, including installation? im guessing $900+ some people are happy to save $400 and learn something in the process, for a similar product
  19. "Im gonna pistol whip the next guy that says shenanigans!!" "hey farva, whats that place you like to go with the little umbrellas" "you mean shenanigans?"
  20. craig is having no problems with his china cheap-ass radiator, so i will have similar results. i have a nismo thermostat in my car too. however i bet the ebay guy rorted me as nothing really changed on my car in operating temps........
  21. the AXIS seems to attract a higher price. possibly due to the limited numbers of them and also they cost more in japan AFAIK
  22. you need to shorten the strut and lower the spring at the same time. dont lower the spring too much as it needs to remain captive in the seat at full droop, so it doesnt pop out when you go over a big hole.
  23. its not cheap cheap, its just priced to sell. i prefer sales like that.
