  1. err thats a silver car in the pic, not baby blue
  2. if you dont need the whole fascia, only the cd/tape unit, a few hundred should do it. can help you put it in also. assuming youre in sydney.
  3. ohh i saw a silver C34 at northmead on sunday, drove past me and i beeped but he didnt acknowledge the other stagea. damn C34 snobs
  4. ouch but its probably a good idea if neither of them can drive very well
  5. www.importmonster.com.au and they can probably organise shipping to the US its a gateway to the japanese auctions. PLENTY of V36 parts to fit your G36
  6. and crushed??
  7. C34 wreck coming up for sale soon in victoria??
  8. it should all come out together from the car, then the stacker will come off the back of the fascia and from there you should be able to open it up. mines never been stuck so once you take the lid off, youre on your own lol and yes mine is a 6 stacker from my RX which is the same as an ARX.
  9. i have a 3.5L V35 radiator in mine, needed some cutting but it fit in fine. apparently the 2.5L models go straight in. a Z33 radiator will NOT fit correctly as the cap is in the wrong spot. but physically it will fit in. VQ35 thermostat is the same, its not a big job to change, just fiddly with one of the bolt locations. the hoses AFAIK are the same as a Z33/V35, and we use green coolant. ive been using nulon stuff in mine for ages, havent had a problem
  10. Spotted Andy this morning around North Ryde this morning
  11. not bad, you got 170k from the original AFM!!
  12. and your point is?
  13. go to nissan and buy a new one. should be around the $300 mark for retail. anything less than that are youre good part number can be found in this thread: http://www.m35stagea.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=258
  14. i have a spare that was working fine in my RX if youre interested.
  15. nice!! but my tv would get in the way if i tried that
  16. hey i spoke some italian while i was there! lol i couldnt believe how quickly your car shifted. i was extremely surprised!
  17. nah TCU outside the gearbox. but was a 'series 2' like yours where the loom exited the gearbox via a plug in the top with a circlip holding it in place.
  18. i dont think so, no. There is less weight and pressure on the driveline now, so that would affect gear changes in a positive way.
  19. thats wicked. posted to facebook lol
  20. its funny you mentioned that, i already thought of obtaining a V35 or Z33 TCU and seeing what would happen. Id say a V35 one would be more compatible (within the same years) and may have different programming. i know the two TCUs i have are slightly different. i might put back my other one it lightens the drivetrain taking out the front drive shaft. gear changes ARE snappier on mine now
  21. nah i wont make it there, but i know one of the guys filming it! tonight, gave jetwreck a hand doing a shift kit to a 350z. fck me did it shift fast!!! and every push of the + and - performed a gear change. anyway, the owner was VERY happy with the outcome. as you would be. removed my front prop shaft, car feels better in corners i rekon!
  22. nup some S14s came without ABS, i THINK all series 1s didnt - may have been an option, series 2 (with updated front end) all did. did europe get the S14? i thought only Japan, australia and the US did
  23. no ABS on your model? is it a 'limited' model?
  24. actually its the fastest! however the tyre wear is also the fastest lol
