ive had my car 2 years, same rubber since i put the 18s on, the inside rear has NOT worn out and its been aligned only once since i got it. and that was after the coilovers were installed.

the glass isnt held with a gas strut like the tailgate. its spring loaded like most sedan car boot lids.

i didnt take the front springs off the shocks, so that will make it easier to install the fronts, with the rears, just drop the LCA and pop the old spring out and put the stock one in. my rear shocks were stuffed. just be VERY careful and remove the brake caliper as youll run out of drop space with the length of the brake line.

yes the car will run with the tailgate and/or tailgate glass open
