AFM died tonight on windsor road in the rain. lucky i had a friend to help me push it off the road. didnt know it was the AFM. it just died and wouldnt start again. it would turn over fine (i did it a lot probably killing my brand new battery), stutter, then die. big thanks to craig for phone diagnosis!

20 mins is about right if you havent done it before. i did mine in under 5. but it was the 3rd time in a row that i did it. dont rush it, make sure you plug the airbag in properly!!

lol you know whats really funny? the fiat has windows mobile in the bluetooth/media player. and yes i can perform updates! however via usb, it doesnt connect to windows update

no one spotted me broken down on windsor road tonight? friggen AFM died at around 6000rpm while i was a little sideways lol thanks to jetwreck for the phone diagnosis. i thought it was a CAS. much easier to drive without an AFM

ok the navigation buttons i dont know to be honest. someone on here has posted a translation i think! there is an AUX input to the head unit that the TV uses. it automatically selects this input when you hit the TV button. there is also a stacker unput that can probably be used for an aux input, but i think you mentioned you had a stacker already........ and finally there is an AUX/VTR input to the tv tuner (assuming its the same as the series 1 M35s) that can be used for music and video. its what the digital aussie tuner is plugged into.

i think ARX is slightly higher than a standard 4WD like kluger etc

so is this wire that youre all cuting coming directly from the brake switch? similar to andy's theory, just hook the park brake line directly up to the ECU brake activation so the park brake activates it instead

the rear spring seat is threaded for spring pre-load, and the damper also has a threaded base for height adjustment. same as the front, but in seperate areas. works the same way though

dont forget Andy has an impul ECU. it may have some G35 fault codes built into it or something? anyway ill cut mine soon and see if it comes up after a few weeks
