thats very weird, i installed a nismo ecu in my car and they keys and remote worked fine. no reprogramming required. im pretty sure its the BCM that does the remote functions. the ECU and BCM arent combined

the quick test i did in the city, the car went to 45% then to 100% for me. the 45% was probably a delay in the screen update or something. ill do it again this afternoon on the way home in the back streets. at least the car will be well and truly warm by then

its the communications network that many of the devices and sensors use to communicate to the ECU and each other. if you cut it, it MAY sever some essential communications. what if the ECU needs to see your speed when you hit the brakes and ABS kicks in? what happens if your engine stalls every time you pull up because the ECU didnt know you were moving. there are hundreds of potential problems. and many people will ignore scott's warning, and this one. but its your car, cut away!

his is KNOWN to have the throttle limit. are you guys 100% sure there IS a performance increase? heres my theory, the informeter is reading the throttle input from your foot. the ECU limits THAT signal to 38% (or whatever) due to its programming. i have an informeter mate, ill be driving to work tomorrow so ill check it out in the back streets. wont be chopping any wires yet
