  1. neither did mine!! removed all the good stuff though
  2. why wuold i do that when the new one is better? it holds in gear longer
  3. remap would be good mine doesnt shift as soon as the old one plus i dont get a clunk into gear when i go from reverse to drive
  4. hahah yeah ill want that too with my new gearbox
  5. good! i guess he needs a driveline upgrade soon lol
  6. hmmm ok fair enough i assumed they would be fouled BY the tune. anyway, he is the tuner, he knows what he wants
  7. revving it wont hurt the car, but its good to have decent lubrication and it will move the heat away from the engine and assist the water in its job
  8. no but its good to have fresh oil in there when they rev the shit out of your car for a few hours however, if you have to change plugs, do it after the tune as they will probably be fouled and you dont want to do that to a fresh set of plugs
  9. its because workshops live on services, its their bread and butter. no offence intended to any workshop, but if you convince people they need a service every 5000km, they probably will when JDM S15s came on the market, the dealers (import dealers) were saying they need 5000km services because they are imports. tell me why the same car was sold locally and needed 10000km oil changes?
  10. i have the aircon fan unit, working fine. its ready to go. being in sydney he can contact me directly. the motor may be a problem, there are a few missing from the wreck
  11. because people pay over $200 per oil change at a performance shop. do an oil change before the tune
  12. i agree with 10k services. 5000km is overkill for a street driven car
  13. FYI people, i put a 2002 transmission computer in my 2001 car. it holds gears slightly longer and doesnt change up as soon as i let my foot of the throttle. it has a different revision number. probably new programming too
  14. i have a spare transmission computer if someone wants to let him know
  15. dude, ARX looks ugly
  16. they dont look like OEM panels to me lol the GTR is a hell of a lot wider than an M35. looks good tho. better IMO than the japanese one
  17. you can probably use your stock brake lines. do they bolt up to a 350Z? yes? then they will fit your car. im pretty sure we have been through this several times.
  18. although i have pale seats in a black interior, i dont mind it. one day ill get some black leather heated seats to match. but right now i dont care. just need some nismo floor mats!
  19. you got the driveline from a manual AXIS? what manual AXIS? only the 350S came in manual.
  20. so are you saying that those brakes fit my stagea?
  21. cool i have two clusters i can sell to him!
  22. got the rest of the black interior in the car tonight. big thanks to craig! still have the beige seats in the full black interior. looks pretty good IMO. the boot trim is the last part to do........
  23. dale, the front bushes look the same as my S13 and S15 ones. i bet they are the same!
  24. AWD and 4WD are the same model in an M35. the driveline is the same the NA models (series 1) have 4 speed autos and different diff ratios to suite the 4 speed. the ONLY difference in driveline is the models with HICAS have a different rear subframe, ARX and AXIS has a slightly wider wheelbase, probably in the knuckle as the arms appear to be the same length
  25. who has a spare bellhousing we can use? ohh yeah thats me lol
