Yeah i needed to fix a few on my bonnet after the cruise also. Just got the paint code from under the bonnet then bought a touch up can from super cheap auto, buffed it all up and it looks like new.

My friends car misfired between 4000rpm and 6500rpm because the spark plugs where gapped to high, we gapped them down and it was all good. Maybe check your plugs first.

13_devil, If your interested i wouldn't mind either swapping my GFB BOV (makes the usual PSSSTTT sound) for your HKS or buying it off you if you want to sell it.

A little off the topic but sonce you guys have bought some 15year old imports, can you tell me if you buy a modified car eg,larger turbo do you have to return the car to standard before it can get registered/complied??

Not to many GTR's in Perth around that price range, if there is they are thrashed or damaged in some way. I'd say look into importing one.

There is something in todays paper (Sat) that if your caught doing 45km/h over the speed limit then that is classed as dangerous driving and your car can be impounded ( for which you have to pay for) then you get your licence suspended. Something to do with the new anti hoon laws here in WA.

Driver, since you are living in Perth i dont think there is an actual law against not running a cat on your car (check with the pits incase im wrong) but if this is correct then dont run one at all.

I have a turbosmart valve and like everyone else has already said during colder weather it spikes from 0.85bar to around 1bar. Im getting a EBC installed soon because of that reason. On the other hand just buy a front mount and full exhaust and your boost will rise buy itself.

Why not just take the car to your local jap performance workshop? Doesn't cost that much and atleast they know wat there talking about.

Don't worry about the music comin out of his speaker worry about the sad arse engine that sucker is running. If I were you id run out there and give him the low down on how to strap a bug mutha RB26DETT to that sucker, chuck on some nitto 555r's and rock that baby down the motorplex!!!!!!!! Ohh yeah grab one of those sundae thingo's in the cup he sells, they taste mad!!!

Ok may r33 is approaching the 100k mark and the major service. I know that the timing belt, oils, plugs, etc have to be changed but what else???

By a huge mile the best event I have even been to!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot to sign up for a SAUWA membership though. If this event takes place next year I will be entering for sure.

I thought the computer has it set at a certain level (7-8psi??) which even with a boost controller can't be dropped any lower.

Ive seen those undercover WRXs in NSW wonder if any are here in WA? I can see it now rock up at the lights and chop some poor wrx only to get pulled over and yellowed/fined.

Recently bought that new GTR dvd from Motorquipe at Cannington, awesome gtr's on this dvd including a top secret 1200bhp gtr doing 328kmh through a tunnel in japan. Also bought some US dvd(crap) called grip but has some decent footage of big hp supras.
