Nah..just do a home job mate.. Basic bracket from bunnings worked fine for me. Went over the pits the other day and they had nothing to say about it.

True - as i thought you could use a R32GTR PFC on an rb20det but not a rb25det one?

Yeah I have a veilside one which is probally similar..damn can't believe they took it though.. might drill a hole and screw mine in.... They aren't that easy to find in Aus

That eng check light is a sign that something is wrong, I read the manual once for the install of the PFC and it does say that if that light is flashing then a sensor somewhere in the engine bay has a drama.... Not 100% sure though..

I am sure it was a combination of things, but the wing would have to be the draw card for sure..

Only ever been pulled over once and that was on a cruise about a year ago. Other than that always slipped under the radar so to speak... Junr34 I think it might be GTSTVSPEC you are thinking of...heard he has had around 7-8 yellows from the wing....poor bugger.

I think it will be staying off for a while But it just doesn't look the same without it This is the first yellow I have ever had out of my collection of imports over the years....which is saying alot...

Just bought a new battery for my R32. Has an RB25DET but the battery is still under the bonnet. Type is a NS40Z if that means anything to anyone. Just wondering what Number of plates 11 and cold crank amps 340 means??? Seen a few threads stating that 340 is a fairly low number??? True - false???

All done.... Took the car over this morning, yellow is gone.

I wouldn't say they are very close together, and they do have a rubber bits on them, but I still rekon they will pick on them. Also have an aftermarket diff which they might not like if they need to take it for a drive...

Hey all as the topic says got pulled over this afternoon and copped a yellow for my GT wing.... Was to be expected really, but I did say I would leave it on until I got one..haha Anyway don't bother turning this into a cop bashing thread as to be honest they (yes all three) were quite decent with me and my car. But more to the point I need to borrow some standard rubber pads that go over your pedals. As I only got my yellow for the GT wing but am guessing they might pick on other stuff also, the aftermarket pedals being the only real stand out.. Let me know if this is not the case. So if anyone has some spare just sitting around...would appreciate a lend so I can take it over
