  1. Hi can anyone suggest where in Perth would be a good starting point for sourcing an RB20DET front cut for my 180sx And can anyone give me an idea how much it might cost to get it fitted to my car. Cheers
  2. Yeah more info please - Year model mods Km's Etc
  3. Ehhh? :kick:
  4. No worries, like I said just been sitting around in my shed for the past 12 months or so anyway. Give them HELL
  5. Sounds like it might be an ex-commo driver who thought they would buy a fully SIK skyline and take it drifting, like you know those jap guys do! :chairshot  Hmmm back to something with a little less power maybe?!?!
  6. If your keen on 2 stock rims and tyres................... .......AS ABOVE!......... First in!
  7. Yeap I got a full set of 4 stock R33 GTST rims and tyres. If you want the other 2 rims then chuck me a PM. Tread is about 80% or more on all 4 tyres. As above $110 for 2 rims and tyres.
  8. I got some stock GTST rims and tyres if you want them. Ill sell just 2 for $110, tread left is about 80%. PM me if your interested.
  9. I dont do coffee but i do a killer handjob  HaHA just jokes ppl's. Strich9ine just out of curiosity were abouts do you work?
  10. Yeah same thing happened on my mates gtst. Try gapping down your plugs i think it is around 0.6 or 0.7.
  11. No Longer Needed Cheers
  12. How about a KE70 Toyota Corolla '82-4ish? ($500-$800approx) , and chuck a SR20DET or CA18DET engine in it. They are rear wheel drive and have pretty good balance for a fairly old car. Just an idea.
  13. Regardless of what laws are brought in, if you speed and you get caught TOUGH! My 2Cents
  14. I used to run Maxis 265/35R18's on the rear and Maxis 235/40R18's on the front. For a pretty unknown(?) and cheapish tyre they had wicked grip on both wet and dry road. Cost about $430ish for the 265's not sure on the 235's maybe $380ish. But with me only running about 250rwhp and you running what now 350rwhp might make a difference.
  15. :werd: Exact first car that I had! Lasted me for years, drove it across the Nullubor, and used to give it quite a thrashing some days, never one issue with the engine or any other parts in the car. Would rev out to around 5k quite well also, only cost me $500 out of the quakka to. :headspin:
  16. :kick: is what you need!!! Dude, nearly every 180sx in Perth would be a turbo. Get a JOB DUDE!!! If the only cash your getting is from Centrelink, $1000 bunky would be the best bet. If you have heaps of questions on silvias www.silviawa.com might be better than SAU. My 2cents (again). :kick: (just for good measure)

    Where to Stay?

Hmmm end of Jan early Feb sounds good. What type of weather is Japan having during Jan and Feb?
  18. Hmmm have to whore this--- Trust33 where did that avatar come from ehhhh???
  19. Yep as above, i used car polish as well, makes em sparkle!
  20. Dude I dont think your getting the picture. Listen to the advice above, Dont worry about buying import cars without steady income first. Even a 5K S13 turbo will set you back on transfer fees, petrol (98 octane), insurance, service costs, plus who knows what else! Just GO THE BUNKY! Put up with drooling over the import cars you see on the street. It will be soo much sweeter owning the car you want when you know you worked your ass off for it and didnt bum the cash of the folks. :headspin: I owned a $500 corolla for about 3years before i saved up enough cash for my R33, but first day driving it home DAMN!! ---need I say more? Ohh yeah by the way hate to tell you but an S13 silvia is a pretty small car dude, you say you dont want a little car? S13 = approx 1200- 1300kg id call that little!
  21. i stopped for a perve on this chick that was changing on the side of the freeway once. Cops told me i was a "you know what" head. Other than that errrr nothing YES thats right "nothing"
  22. Apparently you get the pop out the exhuast more often when you have a external venting blow off valve. As for flames out the exhuast my R33 had a 3inch hiflow cat and after driving the car fairly hard (york cruise SAUWA!) would get flames on most gear changes.
  23. Guess it depends what kind of performance your after. Personally im going for a large single turbo. Engine rebuild with a higher rpm redline would really be needed to get the best out of it though. Twins would be great for response but a large single will give you that "time to go home and change the underware" kinda feelin!!

    Where to Stay?

Hey All, Just wondering if any of you boys that have been or are in Japan can give me a heads up on the best time of year for a visit to Japan. Would like to see a D1 comp while im there and maybe a JGTC round. What time of year are these types of comps held and where is the best place to stay in Japan in regards to travelling to these events? Wouldnt mind going to the Auto Salon over there either. Thanks Adam
