hmm ... i thought they had a garage at the back?? ... oh well ...
-
well from what i saw the most of the cars in the front were ok ... but if it was the garage that is directly at the back well ... i don't think anything in there would survive at all .. i mean i saw actual flames ... big ones ... looked like they were at least 5 meters high!! ... maybe there might be lots of spare parts after this ?? hehe ... i think we should be careful what we say on this forum ... Matt .. my friend said the exact same thing to me on the night hahaha
-
well i just went past anzac highway and the first time i passed there was 1 fire truck there ... now there are like at least 5 ... big big fire ... hope no one got hurt ... but i guess they won't be selling cars for a while ... must of sold a dud car to someone ... hehehe i shouldn't joke about others misfortunes ...

RPM Performance Centre private AIR drag day - Sat' 31st May
hippy replied to whatsisname's topic in South Australia
sorry to spoil but rx7 won that one ... only because the gtr got bogged down at the beggining by all the evos and the other slower car ... it still registered the fastest lap time and even had a problem with it .. cool video though ... -
i forgot to add .. things to also consider besides ride height is the spring rate ... most of the bumps that ur car feels is absorbed by the spring i think .. lowered cars usually always have a hard spring rate .. meaning the spring is more stiffer ... damper .. gotta do with the shocks ... you hit a very hard bump on the road .. the shock absorbers do their best so that u don't feel it and keep ur tyres on the road ... spring rate ride height and damper will affect your ride the most ... i'm not too sure about pineapples .. something to do with drifting heehhee

patience there ... .. ok i'm no expert .. heck i dont' even know what i'm doing answering this post but since i've done a little bit of research i'll try to answer some questions .. and most of the things i'm about to say is probably wrong so u other guys please correct me where i'm wrong. First of all coil overs are probably what u want if u're into handling .. there are tons out there ... most popular are teins ... they the green colour ones ... and i'm sure they are wholy made in japan ... however u will see heaps of other brands like bilsteins or konis ... i think thats what the whiteline kits have?? and they are from europe ... anyways most of the brands that u see like hks coil overs are in fact made by one of them european companies ... they are just made to the jap companies specs ... i heard from some that jap coil overs are not rebuildable but i've heard otherwise from other people ... something to think about i guess .. anyways .. coilovers are just shocks and springs put together basically ... they are usually adjustable in one way or another ... like height adjustable or damper adjustable or both and even camber adjustable ... all these things let u get the precise setup u want ... to get it all setup right u probably would want to go to a specialist because different cars have different requirements ... i think the reason why coilovers are always hard because they lower the car ... lowering the car gives better handling ... lower center of gravity i think?? anyways according to whiteline u shouldn't lower the car more than 2.5 inches?? or was that centimeters ... i don't know .. u gotta check ... someone correct me ... anything more than that and u will be doing more harm than good ... a strut brance will reduce body roll ... as well as sway bars ... get them all if u want the best setup ... steve on these forums gave me a ride in his car and hes got all of this stuff on there ... all i can say is i'm aiming to do my car the same as well ... i was impressed to say the least ... well i hope i haven't said many things wrong .. good luck ... easiest solution is just to go get a whiteline kit ...good luck!!

well why not have a list of good workshops etc and list the names of the people who can vouch for them?? then if they're not on the list, let people ask about them, so that they can be pm'd about them. also its good to have a quick reference for people to see other mechanics and workshops out there to compare prices/quality of service, and if the mechanic is not there than people can assume that they're not as good as the ones listed. we can then ask for those mechanics/workshops to give us SAU discounts YEAH!!!!

its pretty hard to find a job in sydney when u still live in adelaide ... it means having the workplace either interview over the phone or them coming over or u coming over which i think would be alot of trouble for any company to do so i don't think most or even all wouldn't even bother ... theres a few mixed reports about job opportunities ... i have some opportunities over here in adelaide ... they are ok but i dont' think they really suit what i want to do ...

is that thing just a resistor??

INASNT .. u know me well ... i was just going to say how ****ed up the banks are ... i can go on and on and on about them ... but theres no point .. if u can't say something nice then don't ****ing say anything is my motto now ... anyways i've had a few good experiences with banks lately so i guess their service can still be good ... with exceptions ... i still don't agree with them overcharging us for fees etc for over withdrawel and withdrawel from diff banks ... i got my loan from westpac without no troubles ... took a bit longer than usual but that was party cause of their system ... and the other day i did something stupid ... took some money from the atm and took the card and not that money LOL how stupid ... you all can stop laughing now heheh ... anyways next day i called and told them the situation ... they counted the money in the atm and found my money still there and gave it back ... so yeah they can be sometimes good ... ... but in the above example for aybee that is ... well he has every right to complain and he deserves at least and apology from the NAB ... just my 1.5cents worth
