mre .. if u do that then u are just wasting petrol ... there is a hige difference with the OD on or off ... for me anyways ... its like 800rpm or something like that ... thats heaps!!! plus its quieter and the engine is doing less work so i would assume its better for it ... so from the info above ... i gather there is no difference in power or OD?? theres a mistake somewhere in here ...

do u experience a big lag if ur cruising around 40kmhr and then floor it ... then the pedal hits some kind a switch which then drops the gear down and off u go??

i think that u know that u got bad damage on ur tyres if u see a ring that follows your tyres ... hard to explain ... cause i had a leak in one of my tyres and it developed this very noticeable mark which followed the outer edges of the tyre ... but i'd get it looked at ... also u might wanna run ur tyres harder... as it improves tyre wear and ride comfort ... but might give a bit less traction ... someone correct me if im' wrong...

on small suburban roads i don't think i even get near 50km/hr ... it will be just like speed cameras ... not saving any more lives ... just making more money ... and then when they start using speed cameras in spots where people are going 60 in a 50 zone in their own suburb and start getting fines ... then people will start complaining ...

theres going to be new speed limits enforced in SA .. apparently as of 1st of march ... where ever there is no sign for 60 ... the limit will be 50 which means lots of suburban areas ... dont' u all think this is a load of bull sh*t?? this is just an inconvenience to people ... and a big revenue raiser for the idiots in government!!

hello paul ... i have the same problem in my car ... i've been told that i have a boost leak somewhere so u might wanna take it to someone and tell them to put a boost gauge on it and they can tell u what psi u are running ... i'm only running 6 right now and my gauge only goes up to where u've described. hope thats helped.

for mine ... the long exhaust pipe splits into 2 smaller pipes just before going into the big muffler at the back ... does anyone know if this is a good or bad one?? its got that jasma sign on it too so it must be certified ... its a very quiet exhaust ... can hardly hear it but its 3" pipe down the middle ... any good??

i've tried all diff types of petrol .. normal .. premium .. 98 ron .. i've tried woolworths premium too ... car feels best with normal bp premium for me .. although i don't push my car much ... i think bp stuff is much cleaner too ... something about low levels of some chemical which others have high quantity of ... can't remember exactly what it was ... normal premium gives me the best mileage ... at least 100km from a tank(dont' ask me why .. it just does) .. get the same mileage with 98ron stuff as i do with normal stuff... and its cheaper by a couple of cents so i win both ways ... just my 2 cents ...
