i drive around adelaide quite abit so i think most of you guys probably have seen my car around ... its a silver mspec stock kit r33 gtst ... i am just wondering what u other guys here have to get an idea of how many skyline owners do go onto this board you will know its my car cause i got dark tint on top of my front window i dont' know if i should tell u guys that??

is it safe to put on different springs on normal shockers, eg stock ones ... my mate reckons that it would give worst performance ... i was going to put in king springs on what i have right now which i think are stock shocks ... what do u guys think??

yeah ive got 225 at the back and only 215 at the front .. handles like a pig also because my front is about 1.5 inches lower than the back ... i'm getting the backs back to the same as the front very soon ...

i think i'm in the same situation ... how do u know when your shocks are gone??

yeah i would be interested to ... i got the jap manual which looks like its never been opened... but whats the point if u can't read jap? about the copyright ... well i would pay to have it ... either in digital or paper format ... so yeah pm me when u got it done ... i would also be interested in the workshop manual to ... why don't they advertise it?? i'd buy it if i can find it ...

how do i stop things that rattle when there is a bit of base ...i don't even have a sub and when its loud loose bits rattle ... like the peice of plastic between the front window and the drivers side window rattle ... it was taken off and put back on when i got my alarm installed ... doesn't seem to clip back on ... is there any type of material to put on the keep these things from happening??

specII i know of the one u are talking about ... and i agree that its ace especially for the price ... and also the next model up with the oled display is also cool ... even better cause its got more funcitons i think ... but i still like the pioneer just cause i think it looks cooler ... either way u can't go wrong ..

was wondering what the normal setting for the oil and temp gauge should be? .. my temp gauge is usually almost horizontal ... just a little less than horizontal in the downward position, i'd say about 3 degrees .... my oil gauge is the same... but sometimes fluctuates a little ... is this normal?? thanks its an r33 gtst

no its definitely only about 200mmHg ... to be honest the car definitely doesn't feel that fast ... its an r33gtst auto ... so yeah i'm wondering what others with a similar car has got... thanks for you help

then if my gauge is only going up to about 200mmHg ... then there is something wrong with my boost right?? and thats definitely not standard is it??

how do i convert mmHg to PSI? my gauge only goes up to ~1 or 2 x 100 mmHg ... when i floor it ... this doesn't seem normal to me ... what should it be standard?? and what is the boost level for a stock gtst??

yeah u need a converter ... connects 2 pins into 1.... tyr a car audio shop.. costs about 30 bucks ...

bridgestone seem to be the most expensive right now for what i'm going to use it for ... this is for my everyday driving ... i just want it to be as safe as possible as i've had a few mishaps already .... seems like a choice between toyos and yokohamas right now ...

yeah its for a r33 skyline ... and i have standard rims ... thanks for the advice ... i'm looking closely at the toyas and the goodyear ... those bridgestones seem a little overpriced which i'd rather spend on doing my brakes and new springs. Goodyear F1 $235 Bridgestone RE71 $247 +$66 wheel alignment which brands do u think are better?? any other tyres i should look at??

was wondering how far u can go when ur empty feul light goes on? cause mine is empty right now, should i risk a trip to a good petrol station? or just stick in some shitty feul ...??

go to www.pioneeraus.com.au and check it out ... i've had a little look at this one, and my cousin has the MD version ... i think its awesome... i want one but i can't afford it yet ... but will soon after i pay of half the skyline ... otherwise i think jvc are pretty good too ... its all up to u whether u like the OLED gimmick like myself

i'm sure i can get standard nissan connector for car stereos, which is good if you dont' wanna cut the wires so all you would have to do it solder the stereo onto a male type connector which connects straight onto the standard type. it just makes it real easy to put in. the only problem is the cost which will be like 16 bucks or so, thats what i got told who knows a supplier, was wondering if anyone else would be interested??

did you solder all the connections or did you just tape it??

Also jvc are good ... as i've had a good look at comparing mp3 head units ... if ur on a budget get a jvc, if u've got a bit more cash got with pioneer ... like you said ... they just look heaps better ... and if you're bill gates ... got with the top of the line pioneer ... that one just rocks man!!! like you can download ur own animations onto the OLED ... thats just better than any other rice you can buy!!!

so that means that snow is a form of traction control, so if its really wet and i press the snow button ... i'm less likely to spin the wheels??
